There is a crumbling of the bay leaf

Bay leaf crumbles are a great product if you have a recipe that requires them. A third of the bay leaves had crumbs on them and were unusable. Based on what I weighed, I know what they weigh. It did not stand up to the expectations I had. I ordered another jar of bay leaves from a different company, and not a single one broke. Inside the same box as the bay leaf crumbs was a secure bubble envelope enclosed with a second jar.

The value of your money is lower than what you get

There is a label on the bottle that reads Approximately 12 oz. There is still half a bottle left in my bottle. As it was still sealed, it hadn't been opened. The weight of the product was only after removing the content from my scale and weighing it. A 5-ounce packet contains 5 grams. Make sure you are careful when buying.

It's a great spice, good value

Try it in a tomato sauce, soup, or bean. Slow cook for the best results. Bay leaves are very good, I can really taste their flavor, but not quite as good as ones that are grown from seed. While it is hard to tell which ones are the longer, more flavorful Turkish style bay leaves or the California style bay leaves, or a mixture of both, McCormick makes quality spices so I would recommend opting for quality, whichever they choose. Perfect as a dip for tomatoes, mashed potatoes, soups, and beans. They really pack them in there (they make it look like they're crammed in there), so it's a good value.
