I bought this spice mix because I was expecting Texas visitors and wanted something familiar that was also supposed to be unique and Texan. It wasn't meant to be like this. Dinner was adequate but not exceptional, and time was spent sending texts to see if anyone in Texas,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, had ever purchased, much less heard of Maybe it was because there wasn't much to brag about in the first place. I'll just use "Slap your Mama" and the other spices I mix for dips and steaks next time.
I've tried a lot of different steak seasonings and this is the one that keeps me coming back. It enhances the steak's flavor rather than masking it, as many other sauces do. Seasoning to the max!.
I just got a package from Obie- Cue's Steakmaker, which I combined with hamburger and set aside for about half an hour yesterday. After that, you'll need to make patties and grill them. Those burgers had a fantastic flavor to them. I even gave one to my sister-in-law. laws, and she gushed about how delicious it was. br>I'm going to try it with steaks next! br>I'll be ordering more Obie-related items in the future. Steakmaker seasoning from Cue's.
For the money, it's also a good-sized container. I place the tip of my finger on my tongue when I receive this rub. I tasted the rub with my finger and it tasted like spice, not salt! I knew I'd found something special.
Cues spices are good, but the steak maker is the best. I use it on everything because it enhances the flavor of all meats and makes a delicious brisket rub. It's something I use on a regular basis.
Cue is the best, and this one is fantastic on hamburgers, Portobello mushrooms, and salmon.
Without it, I wouldn't be able to grill steaks.
I first discovered this spice at Traders Village, and it has since become a staple in my kitchen; however, I don't use it on steaks; instead, I enjoy it on hamburger meats and lamb chops.
