Shazam! This is excellent material. This rub has a pecan flavor with a sweet undertone to balance it out. I have a few different go-to rubs, but this is the one I use when I want a sweet pecan flavor. I also use it to add interest to other rubs that are more spice-oriented by blending it in with them. Years ago, I found this at a local butcher shop, but I now prefer to order it from Amazon because it allows me to shop from the comfort of my couch. br>br> For its uniqueness and if you're craving something flavorful with a sweet edge, I'd highly recommend this. It can also be used to season a variety of foods at the table. This rub is a nice change of pace from many of the other excellent rubs available.
I've used it alone or in combination with Memphis or Texas style dry rubs on ribs, chicken, brisket, and pork. It's something that my entire family asks for on a regular basis. When I visit friends and family or they visit me, I'll give them this secret rub as a small gift. When I place my next order, I plan on trying some of their other rubs!.
00 fee for shipping! Garlic from the Mojave is one of my favorites. It's most likely one of the best all-purpose seasonings ever created. My review's lack of stars is solely due to the unexpected shipping fees I had to pay. I've purchased this item several times before using the "Buy Again" option, and I've never been charged a shipping fee until this most recent purchase. I was extremely disappointed. ☹️.
After seeing it recommended on a YouTube channel dedicated to smoking meats, I decided to give it a try. I've used it on a variety of cuts of meat and have been very pleased with the results. Although I understand that everyone's tastes differ, I recommend that you add this to your list of "must try" dishes.
OMG! The seasoning was a huge success! It wasn't overly sweet, and it tasted like butter pecans. The seasoning came in airtight packaging with a year's worth of use left.
If you enjoy sweets, this is the one for you. It has a slight smokiness to it. I don't usually buy seasonings that contain natural or artificial smoke because I use a Traeger to cook and get the smoke flavor. I believe it is overpriced for what you get.
This rub has a distinct pecan flavor that is enhanced when meat is smoked with pecan pellets. I've used it on ribs, chuck roast, and tritip that I smoked in my smoker with a pecan blend pellets, and they've all turned out delicious. It has a light sweet flavor to it, but it's not overly salty like some other rubs, and I plan to use it on other types of meat in the future, and I'll buy it again.
I've been using John Henry's Rubs for years, and my favorite is the Pecan, but you can't go wrong with any of their dry rubs. I enjoy smoking meat, and I always make sure to rub John Henry's on it the day before I put it on the smoker.
