Because they are extremely hot, making a paste with them is probably not a good idea. This is one of the adidas you'll see in Kung Pao chicken. It's got a lot of heat to it.
Even so, I'm not sure how much even the Calcutta Indians could consume as a snack - I'm sure they can handle extremely hot food, but I'm not sure they enjoy it as a snack - It's unlikely that the number is in the tens of thousands. This isn't a potato chip, so don't expect it to taste like one. *new paragraph* Most Americans will only eat two or three servings of such a large dish, so you can keep them for a long time if you use them for that purpose.
Although they can be frozen, they keep well in a jar. I keep them in a jar because they're dried and last a long time.
They were too dry and not spicy enough when I had them.

It has a nice color, a pleasant smokey scent, and great flavor, similar to kungpao chicken, and these add a little POW to the dish. I've got the kung pao in my hands! This was an absolutely fantastic performance. As stated they are not 100% dry, but they are nice and fresh, fragrant, beautiful red chillies. If you want flaming heat, make sure you break one of these apart before adding% They arrived in just four days and are a nice sized package that will last a long time; the flavor of these chilies is beyond description. The taste of the chilies is incredible, slightly sweet and smoky. It was fantastic, and I plan to buy more of it in the future. It's a great chilli to use in Thai or Chinese cooking, and I recommend it to anyone.
The habanero peppers (fresh) that I usually use add only a small amount of heat to the dish (I only used 6), but when chewed, they all had a nice smoky flavor and a nice zip to them. The texture of eating the whole ones was leathery/skin-like (in a good way). When eating whole peppers, a second brand (El Molcajete Thai peppers, Amazon) had nuts that had a great crunch to the seeds. Only about a quarter of the peppers on that brand were actually spicy, but they were so tasty and crunchy with a nuttiness that I ate the whole pepper. This version had a more bland texture, but each pepper was just as tasty. Despite the heat, these didn't last long. It's a good dried pepper to use if you're looking for a mild kick. They were brand new and in excellent condition when I bought them.

From beginning to end, I was completely satisfied with my purchase! The seller provided excellent communication, informing me that the item may take longer to arrive than expected due to US customs (it did not take longer). The chilies I received were generous for the price, and I used them right away to make one of my favorite Thai dishes in the slow cooker. I like to add a few of these items to stews and soups in general as a flavor boost. The stock market is a type of financial instrument. As a result, I've had to rely on sprinkling crushed red pepper on top, but that's no longer the case. This is a new item for me, and I buy a lot of it so that I always have a pinch on hand to add to a pot. We have enough for two years' worth of needs if we use it at a moderate rate for three months.
