That's not Mrs. Grass's or Wyler's product. They also have a good product! Rather than being actual rice, that lil egg is actually broth and chicken flavor that has melted into it when it is cooked. As you know, the original name of the product was Soup Starter, then it was changed, but the product remains Due to some reason, it is hard to find in stores anymore. It was good, too, but I think the beef vegetable soup was best. I am not sure if they still make that chicken noodle soup with that little egg. There's a small box that contains it. Packets of these are available in plastic.

Okay, we have been standing by Bear Creek soup mixes for some time now. Our last purchase was the Mrs. Grass Soup Mix, which we are very happy with. At present, however, the price has risen to obscene levels (IMO). It had a great taste and we mixed some meat in with no problem. There was even some rice added to the broth. I loved it! It was a pleasure to eat the vegetables. It's our new favorite mix, and it's not unreasonable in price!
We'll definitely buy it again and it's always a great deal.
