A teaspoon of salt in everything I cook would never occur to me Then and now. In particular, when I make porketta, I use a lot of Badia Complete Seasoning. There is less of an overwhelming effect than salt usually has.
Since December 2018 is the expiration date for the batch I bought months ago, it still has plenty of time. It was only when I discovered that it contained MSG monosodium glutamate that I decided to stop using it. If I had known ahead of time I wouldn't have bought the seasoning, but I don't know if that matters to you.

Besides chicken, beef, and seafood, I also use it for vegetables, soups, and sauces. In cases where I'm unsure of which to use, I use this. My favorite part of that purchase is the price that is reasonable for the seasoning it comes with and the fact that it will last me for quite some time.
It has low sodium content, yet big, bold flavor, which is what I like about Complete Seasoning. It goes on everything bar my desserts including eggs, avocados, veggies, meats, stews, gravy, soups, so I sprinkle a little on everything except for.

We usually buy 75-pound containers. This 3 pack has been a great value The containers that I have gone through in the last six months totaled three. All things taste better with this seasoning. It has a great flavor but isn't salty at all.
I use it when cooking chili and other recipes that have a Latin influence. Indian curries will be a wonderful addition to the menu, since it has a flavor profile that suits it well.
