There are a lot of brands that I have tried. the best mix that I have ever tried. I enjoy the balance of flavors and none of the spices overwhelm each other. The best way to prepare Garam Masala is by doing it yourself. However, I do not use it often enough to be able to do so. Chicken Tika Masala and biryani are two dishes I have used this spice and it can be used for anything you want to flavor.
There is nothing like the freshness and aroma of this food. You can be sure that I will try your other spices in the future!.
The garam masala I use is absolutely delicious. There is depth of flavor to this dish and it has all the necessary spices in it. It has a smooth taste and it does not have an aftertaste that many other brands do. I find it versatile and can use it in a variety of ways. This ingredient has been in almost all dishes I've been cooking. In addition to making storage and use easier, the jar makes it more convenient. It is great. I am very happy.
It is organic, non-GMO, and great in taste. We are very pleased with the quality.
She has been making chicken Tikka Masala for a long time and was using that spice a lot. She wanted us to move up to something even You will not be disappointed by this one. Despite the stronger flavor, she doesn't use as much of it as she did with our old one. There's nothing to worry about. Everything is still fine.
Garam masala from Penzey's has been a favorite of mine for quite a while now. This one seemed to have a cinnamon flavor that was lacking in this one. The taste of Indian food was different than that of American food so if you are an Indian food aficionado you will probably find it more authentic. I just didn't like it.
I bought this because it cost the same as buying a container with three times the quantity. When you make curry a lot/ when you know you will use it- this is something you need to have. Since most recipes require tablespoons of this stuff at a time, I expected it to last me a while. It is huge though, and should last me at least a year.
