Variety Fennel, Nutmeg, Instead of Garam Masala, I received an entire package of caraway seeds when I ordered it. Although you cannot return it, Amazon refunded my money. br>I'm not sure what I'll do with 1 pound of caraway seeds. I'm thinking about starting to make Rye Bread.
I was concerned after ordering this and reading the reviews, which claimed that some people received something other than garam masala, that the product was almost expired, and that it was non-returnable. package that can be resealed My order arrived only a few days ago. It's today, 5/18/21, and the expiration date is 12/22, so it's still valid. It also came in a resealable bag, and yes, it is garam masala, not mustard powder or anything like that. This was my first time ordering garam masala on my own, so I may not be the best judge of flavor or anything, but it tasted great- It was only the other night that I put it to use. Thanks!.
1 pound Garam Masala - 1 pound Garam Masala - 1 pound Garam Masala - 1 pound Garam The organic yellow mustard was in the foil package, and that's exactly what it was. There was a great deal of disappointment.
The Indian recipes I found online were intimidating, but most of them required Masala as a main ingredient. Because I couldn't find it in the store, I ordered it from Amazon. Finally, I made a simple chickpea recipe (one of his favorites). He was ecstatic, which made me ecstatic, and everyone else was ecstatic as well. The flavor is incredible!.
The package is completely different, complete with a sticker and no "resealable zipper pouch to maintain its aroma and freshness"br>as well as no return option. I'm going to contact Amazon because this isn't what it says it is and there's no way of knowing if it's genuine and not re-packaged. labeled.
I could add each spice one at a time to create the flavor, but why would I when this blend is pre-portioned and simple to use? It's an adventure for the nose just to open the package. That is only the beginning of the aroma. The taste is incredible.
SANDRA HALL, PLEASE READ THIS: br>I wish I could respond to you directly. Masala is a fantastic spice blend that is as authentic as it gets. I've done a lot of cooking while traveling through India for long periods of time. Spices are best purchased from organic spice shops or vendors, in my opinion. It's even better if the spices are weighed and ground right before your eyes. Garam Masala and all masalas have different flavors depending on where they are made. Each one has its own distinct personality. I'm not sure what brand you bought in the past, but most Indian spices sold commercially in jars are old, irradiated, tailored for the American palate, and even a little rancid, precisely because they've been sitting in massive spice warehouses, shipping docks, costume offices in India, packaging departments, long voyages by ship, then in American docks waiting for costumes, delivery to packaging locations, warehoused, then sent to the supermarket or restaurant. This Garam Masala is out of this world! In addition, the packaging keeps the product fresh. To avoid oxidation, keep it out of direct sunlight and open and close the package as quickly as possible. No, I'm not affiliated with the company, and this is my first purchase from them! I will continue to purchase the majority of my spices from them. ORIGINAL REVIEW: BR>BR>ORIGINAL REVIEW: BR>BR>ORIGINAL REVIEW: BR>ORIGINAL REVIEW It's incredible! br> This is the best Garam Masala I've ever used in Indian cooking. Not only in Indian cuisine, but also in other foods, such as egg dishes, a dash in plain yogurt, and whatever else your imagination comes up with. Simply add a small amount at a time, tasting as you go.
I had purchased another jar of garam masala, but it had run out. This one piqued my interest, so I went ahead and purchased it. It has a slightly different flavor profile, one that is a little spicier. It doesn't appeal to me as much as the other; it's not as "light" as the other.
