I like to use it to season meat or to make Indian-inspired dishes. It's warm and aromatic, but I think there's a little too much cinnamon in there, giving it a sweet/fruity flavor; as a result, it'll work well in sweeter dishes, teas, and other beverages. br>The container is made of thick glass and has a metal lid that screws on. If you're into aesthetics, it simply looks great on a spice rack. The container is delivered in bubble wrap and is completely sealed. br>The sifter isn't my favorite because it only dispenses a small amount of product if I just shake it; I have to hit the bottom to get enough product to sprinkle. It also has a large opening, which is ideal for putting a teaspoon or tablespoon into.
My otherwise delicious meal was nearly ruined by this. The clove flavor is extremely strong and overpowering. I'm going to try a different brand and toss this one in the trash in the hopes of getting better results.
We didn't care for the cinnamon or clove flavor.
I've tried making my own garam masala blend at home, but it's difficult to find all of the ingredients (and the blend uses them all up). The convenience of this ready-made version is worth it; it has a strong cinnamon flavor, but the spices aren't overpowering. I think you'll like this brand if you're new to garam masala because it's not as sharp or pungent as you might expect, and I like that it's organic and made with non-GMO ingredients. spices that have been irradiated.
I was hesitant to reorder because my previous one had a broken lid and was open when it arrived, but this one was tightly sealed. br>The masala is delicious, and I use it in all of my Indian dishes. Some say there's too much cinnamon, but I've never had an issue with that because I adore cinnamon. It has never been able to overpower a dish. All of my dishes have a lot more flavor now that I've added the masala. I'd suggest it.
It's a little sweet, but it adds a delicious warmth to whatever I use it on. Roasting chicken thighs with a sprinkle of this seasoning is one of my favorite things to do. It's also delicious on roasted or steamed vegetables. Other brands that I've tried don't compare to this one's sweet warmth. It's also organic, which is always a plus in my book. When I roast something with this Garam Masala, the house smells amazing!.
This is my first purchase of this spice; I used it to make Tikki Masala and found it to have an overpowering cinnamon flavor.
This Frontier Co-op was the first thing I came across when I was looking for a new When I was traveling, I stopped at a small local store and bought some Garam Masala. I bought it on the spur of the moment because I enjoy experimenting with different flavors. This spice is fantastic; the combination of flavors is ideal for me. I use it in a variety of recipes and like to add a little to my fruit sauce. Before brewing, I give my coffee grounds a couple of shakes to make it extra tasty. I'm glad I can get it here because it's unavailable in my local stores.
