Despite the blend's excellent taste, I find it a little milder than I expected. There's no reason for me to take a dim view of this product. It's usually not possible to get my personal spices while I travel for work, so I usually get my masalas from the motherland. My Guju buddy keeps me in the loop, but since I travel for work, I can't always have access to my personal spices. #TheHotelGourmet did pretty well.
The four stars can be explained by this. In the rare case that I have mixed the spices myself, I have been able to use less. It's great to have this manufacturer to help, as one does not always have the time or spices on hand to roast spices.
When I used the Garam Masala spice in a recipe, it turned out to have a great flavor and I would purchase it again.
