Questions & Answers
Is it true that this rice has been parboiled? br>As a result, it is ready in a short amount of time.
I use a rice cooker ($15, no frills) to cook mine, using 1 part rice and 2 parts water until it's done. It appeals to me.
I'm not sure because it doesn't say so on the packaging. It is whole grain and grown in the United States.

This is the third time I've purchased it. I don't cook it according to the directions because it leaves a lot of water behind, so I use less. Even one and a quarter of a cup of water leaves a small amount of water behind. Continue to cook the rice if you want it really soft. However, after bringing it to a boil, I'll let it simmer for 30 to 45 minutes. Because I use 1 and 1/4 cup of water, there will be some water left over. At that point, I prefer the rice. It has a texture to it and is chewy for a few bites. For me, I believe 1 and 1/8 cup of water will suffice. It has a decent flavor and a reasonable price. I've never had any issues with the quality of the product.
There isn't much to say about this rice; it's brown rice, and it's exactly what I expected. It came with instructions for cooking, and it turned out perfectly. Uncle Ben and his team delivered exactly what I had hoped for.
We were advised by our doctor to eat whole foods. To keep our GI tracts healthy, we eat grain steamed brown rice. br>Peas are added before eating. Together they have a good taste.
Love it. The grain is of excellent quality. We eat white rice most of the time, but we do occasionally mix in some brown rice for a different flavor and aroma.
My favorite rice is Uncle Ben's, which I couldn't find in stores and had to pay a premium for.
Thank you very much.
