I only had to pay $2. It appears to have been a third-party seller, as the subscribe and save score was 86. (Or, should we say, a gouger on the side of a third party.)

This is the best rice I've ever eaten in my 60 years of life. There isn't a rice that compares. Regrettably, they have ceased production due to the presence of a black person. I'm pretty sure this is the last bag I'll find.
I've been attempting to transition to whole grains, with the most recent change being from white to brown rice. During this pandemic, I figure I might as well eat healthier and exercise more. br>br>The rice is flavorful and cooks up well in my rice cooker. There were no issues with the quality. I took a star off because a two-star rating isn't good enough. Because you aren't going to eat the entire two pounds of rice in one sitting, a pound bag of rice should have a ziplock opening. I ended up putting the open bag in my own ziplock bag, which worked but shouldn't have been necessary. Packaging is appalling.
That's what I thought until I tried Uncle Ben's Whole Grain Brown Rice, which has a slightly nutty, robust flavor that makes it superior to other brands. It cooks up nice and fluffy, though slightly denser than white rice, and has a great flavor.
I chose to order this brown rice, and as soon as it arrived, I tried it right away. Let me tell you, it was incredibly tasty and nutritious. I had to order more the next day, and let me tell you, having two packages of Ben's original brown rice is literally everything! This is something I would strongly recommend to someone who is on a diet.
If the directions are followed, this product has a high fiber content, a nutty flavor, and will stay fluffy. Cooking time is only 20 minutes, as opposed to 40 minutes for regular brown rice. I like the nutritional value, texture, flavor, and other aspects of the product, and the price is very reasonable at this time.
As a result, this item is a fantastic gift for me! It's simple to make the rice, and it's delicious. It's rapidly becoming one of my favorites!! I'm also looking after a cute little wild field mouse who has wandered into my house. He also enjoys this variety of rice. Despite the fact that he eats raw rice!.
This rice is not available in any of the grocery stores in my city. For years, I've only used it to cook brown rice. It has a slightly nutty flavor and lacks the husk found in traditional brown rice; I like to use it in casseroles, but it also works well on its own.
Brown rice in its natural state is delicious and versatile.
