Beans in a can have been dead for a long time. They won't sprout and can't be used to start a garden.
For $9. At Walmart, I can get five cans for 99 cents each.
Butter peas, on the other hand, I believe are not the same.

I hadn't bought any Goya products until the President's support was threatened. Because of the flavor, nutrition, price, and variety, I will now purchase these products. We really enjoyed this different and nutritious food that I made using a recipe from the back of the can. Thanks,.
Thank you very much!.
The "peas" were flat and dented in the can. I'm not sure I'll order anything from this company again. FRESH is a place where I frequently shop. I believe this is the only product I've had a problem with. This brand is terrible, so look for another.
I am not of a certain ethnicity, so I have no idea how it is used in other cultures. They are, however, delicious with rice and a tasty and affordable alternative to other canned beans such as pinto, black, white, blackeye peas, field peas, and so on. Sodium is added, but not excessively, in my opinion.
They have the flavor of old socks that have been boiled in soiled water! I won't be purchasing anything else in the future!.
I have attached a photo.
