Questions & Answers

How do these work with Boba? It will be interesting to see their size after they are cooked. ?

You cook these to about the same size as mini boba. I boil one at a time. Put 5c water in the bowl, then add the salt. The pearls are valued at 5c. Add to 15 minutes of boiling water, turn off heat, and let sit for 10 minutes. Place 25 cups sugar in a bowl, cover, and let sit for 2 hours. They should be chewy and white in the middle.

Growing cassavas, do pesticides need to be used? Can you tell me if this is My sincere thanks go out to you. ?

Tapioca Pearls are made from cassava root that has not been raised organically. Pesticides may therefore be used to prevent damage. Thanks for your kind words!

Can you tell me where this tapioca is ?

Brazil is the source of the Tapioca Pearls (and the root is from Brazil). Thanks for your kind words!

How long do they take to cook in the ?

The rice cooker is not the right appliance for cooking tapioca! The tapioca needs to soak before you make it, and you need to keep stirring constantly while it cooks, BUT the effort is worth it. It is one of the favorites of my family, and has been for three generations or more! You'll love it!

This is exactly what I was looking for! The only tapioca I could find locally was small beads of tapioca
5/5

Tapioca flakes or tiny/small beads were the only products available on the shelves at the grocery store. It was important to him that we serve old fashioned tapioca with a creamy texture and the "pop" of tapioca beads. Three different brands couldn't give us the right combination of taste and aroma. My search finally culminated in the discovery of this 20 pound bag of large sized tapioca and it is just what I was looking for. It is not included with the bag, so you will have to use it with a recipe. In my case, I soak my tapioca in milk overnight in the fridge, but there are recipes that call for sitting it in water on the Soaking tapioca in water produces a looser tapioca, while soaking tapioca in milk produces a more rich tapioca. If you don't have coconut water, almond milk, or another soaking fluid, then you can use other liquids. The versatility of tapioca means you can add all kinds of ingredients to make a different desert every time.

The food is wonderful to look at as well as to eat
5/5

As a result of my fibromyalgia I also suffer from the following. As part of my regimen for easing the symptoms of IBS and other digestive disorders, I regularly consume tapioca pudding made with rice milk and coconut milk once a day. My slow cooker gets used once or twice a week to make it. I love how these large pearls add an interesting texture to a dress, and this particular one is especially lovely. For an extra delicious coating, syrup is the way to go.

4/5

I don't care about my customers! I would recommend this product to anyone, but if you have never made tapioca pudding, don't count on Hoozier Farms to give you the recipe or help you need. Here is the recipe from the package,
Simply soak 1/2 cup of tapioca in 1 1/2 cups of cold water overnight. 1 cup of the mixture needs to be blended. There are 3/4 cup milk and 3/4 cup sugar in the recipe. Put the water on the Pour the tapioca water off the tapioca. Mix in the tapioca with the You need to cook and stir the tapioca
for at least 30 minutes in order to see it's clear. Add 3 egg yolks, 3/4 cup sugar, and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Whip until light and fluffy. The vanilla flavor. To the above mixture, add the water and bring to a full You'll get about 2 quarts out of this recipe. There are many reasons to avoid this recipe. A Google search lead me to Hoosier Farms, but the website does not provide a phone number. A recording was left, but no one returned the call. They will not share email addresses or phone numbers on the web site (they were secret about email addresses). It's been a while since I sent an email. I don't care about my customers! Having retired from the dining business, I would like to suggest providing more information (the correct info) about how to cook On other products, I'm not sure if there are better directions. It has been said that you can tell a lot about a company by their A single cow is found at Hoosier Hill Farms!.

An old-fashioned tapioca that you will not be disappointed with! What a terrifying thought! Reviewing all the brands and models I could, I felt at a loss It wasn't satisfactory to have mushy tapioca, so I opted for this instead
5/5

That was one of the best decisions I have ever made! This type of tapioca pearl is not mushy. This is what tapioca tasted like when I was a child. It has become a staple in my diet. Even though I got the 5lb bag, it may be too much tapioca for a large family. The 2 pound bag is a better In the end, I decided to soak it for about 21 hours. Though I had things come up, my skin wasn't hurt. After that, I put it in my slow cooker for another 3 hrs. There are no mushy tapioca pearls at all. My original plan was to ruin it, but I turned to it anyway and it turned out to be perfect. There is a taste difference when using 1 cup of pearls instead of 1 cup of 12c. The only choice you should make is this one!.

Tapioca lovers should not miss this product
5/5

You can use the recipe from the Reese pack if you make your own tapioca pudding and eat a lot of it. It's similar to the large Reese pearl you buy at the grocery, but it is much cheaper. Storage life is infinity if you keep it dry. I have found a great deal in tapioca.

The product does not match the description
3/5

The tapioca pearls are not large. These pearls did not get substantially bigger than they were when they were dry after being put into a pudding. The outsides of the plants disintegrated as they hydrated, and as such, they weren't able to grow. Despite the fact that I was able to make pudding and it thickened the way it was supposed to, the pearls did not grow to the thick plump pearls I was expecting. I'm disappointed because the flavor is good and the price is good if you don't care about being big, but that is why I bought them in the first place.

It's a great set of pearls
5/5

This is a project I can do by myself. It's a great set of pearls. The bubble tea makers are big enough that I can make them on my own. This isn't as large as the dark pearls that are found in the tea, but the tapioca is the only ingredient, so I feel good that I'm not eating any artificial junk. It is hard for them to crumble since they are whole. When the pearls are soaking for a few hours at room temperature, I only have to bring them to a boil until they are In the future, I plan to use them to make pudding. There are a lot of pockets in this bag, so it will last for.

It's delicious as a If you don't soak the tapioca overnight, you will lose the nutrients in it
5/5

It's delicious as a In order to soak the tapioca properly, keep it covered overnight or for the next five days Be aware this is real tapico, not instant. Stay out of the sun and water for 6 hours
before cooking. My family's Swedish fruit soup recipe also benefited from it, and it brought out the best results. The tapioca at Hoosier Hill Farm is excellent!.
