The same thing is bothering me. Per ounce, I am paid 30 cents. What exactly does this fluid ounce mean? hooey?
Yes, Earthborn Elements Tapioca Flour is suitable for the preparation of pao de queijo.
Tapioca is a root vegetable that comes from the cassava plant. Cassava flour is flour, while tapioca is a starch that is also called flour but is still the plant's starch. Tapioca starch and flour are essentially the same thing.
I keep it on the counter in a glass jar/canister until I've used it all up, which usually takes about 6 months. It should be treated in the same way that wheat flour should be treated.

Perfect noodle made with 1 cup tapioca flour and 2 cups rice flour.
Snipping through the edge with snippers from my beading tools was simple and safe. The lids have a ring on them to keep them well sealed. I discovered that squeezing the rim of the tub to the lid seals it nicely with minimal effort (I am a petite 110-pound gal). br>br>With a celiac in the family, I keep a variety of flours on hand - The majority of them come in ziplock bags. This is a terrible bag - It's impossible to scoop anything out of them, and it's difficult to get the excess back into the bag if you pour too much out. With these tubs, I can use any size cup measure I want, and I can easily see how much is left. br>br>The flour is brand new - It's simple to see when the use-by date is approaching. In addition, the cost per ounce is reasonable - If you've ever had to bake gluten-free, you know how costly it can be, so this is crucial. I wish I'd discovered these before purchasing containers for transferring flours and storing flour blends, but I'm sure I'll find plenty of uses for these tough little buckets.
OMG. Just trying to get into the bucket took me a half-hour! The top instructions are illogical: "break at openings," with a picture of a hand holding a screwdriver on the side of the lid. There are several indentations in the plastic lid all the way around, which can be seen after turning the entire bucket upside down and peering under the edge of the lid. I assume that's what they're talking about when they say "openings. " A screwdriver, in any case, will not open them. To cut through the plastic, you'll need tin snips or wire cutters. I've ordered potato starch from the same company in a large bucket before, but the lid on that one was different and much easier to open. The actual product is very good once I finally broke into the bucket, after a lot of scraped knuckles and a ruined manicure. Tapioca flour should be pure white and as light as air. If it weren't for the ridiculous industrial-style music, I would have given it five stars. packaging in the style of It was so bad that I decided to try a different brand the next time I went shopping!.
If it weren't for the packaging, this product would have received five stars all around. It's a pain to open and close this. It takes me a long time to open it, and then I can only get half of the lid off. As a result, I am having difficulty extracting the contents. But, once it's out, I can bake with it and coat things with it, and everything I've made with it has turned out beautifully.
Some users have also expressed dissatisfaction with the difficulty in removing the lid. The lid works very well, and I believe that those who say it's difficult to pop off didn't remove the security pull off strap, which if left in place would make the lid difficult to remove and put on. br> Once you peel that security strip off, there will be no problems. br>br>A Buy.
This product was used to make a Brazilian "biscoito de polvilho," and it turned out beautifully.
I like how large the amount is and how convenient it is. The lid is a little difficult to open at first, but once open, it's fine. This has been a great buy for me since going Paleo, and I plan to buy it again.
I've bought this tapioca flour several times and have always been pleased with it. I also like that the handled bucket it comes in can be reused. As a result, Please, for the love of God, change the way the lid is closed. It's extremely difficult to open, and it's physically painful to do so the first time, and it's even more difficult to reseal the lid once it's been opened. Please think about getting a new bucket for packaging. It would make a huge difference in the lives of your clients.
