The problem is that I am unable to return it, so I must keep We were really disappointed by how the product didn't match the Amazon.
When we tried to crystallize it with my kindergarten class as an easy kindergarten craft, we completely failed. The craft I am doing today is one I have done before with store-bought materials I bought an alum product, but it did not This does not look like alum powder to me. The product is non-toxic This item is returnable, so do not buy it if you do not intend to keep it.
The amount you need for romance CLOSENSESS is 1 tablespoon.
The other reviewers have also commented on how uncertain they are whether this is the actual stuff like they sell in the grocery. It failed to crystalize for us after following all the instructions precisely and after we purchased it to do a little alum egg crystal project. Alum powder would have crystallized in a few hours. The expiration date "sticker" on the bottle is also a bit flimsy (it's just a sticker you can easily print with an inkjet printer) and the nutrition label is also off. It's up to you guys to decide what to make of it.
Since we needed a large amount of the material to make easter egg geodes, we bought this. It was a good price, but the product didn't live up to it. The geode recipe we followed explained exactly how to make it, but alum is not all the same. You should not use this if you are using it for this.
The tap in an aluminum bracket I was working on had broken, and I had to chemically sanitize it Remove the fragment that has been broken In a bowl, combine about a third cup of this item with 1 cup of sugar Using a large Pyrex beaker, fill one pint with water There are enough beds to accommodate everyone Turn the heat down to low After boiling for a little over an hour and thoroughly rinsing, I was able to salvage the bracket by tapping the same hole that the broken fragment had been dissolved from, saving me the time and trouble of fabricating a new piece. I found this to be a time-saver.
It is sometimes found in brass valves of old steam whistles that ancient rusted screws have broken off. By boiling the parts with alum to dissolve the screws out of the brass, I dissolve the iron on the Even so, I'm still tinkering with the amount of mixture because it takes time to get the right amount of mixture and it tends to leave a soft residue in the threaded hole after it cures. Also, I'm planning on trying to rip out some 1" pipes with it, just to test whether it will handle such a huge undertaking. Generally, I am happy with my purchases so far and the price is fair for the amount required. There is also a possibility that it will form crystals eventually.
It turned out to be quite different from what we had expected. The powder described is not what it appears to be. Moreover, there is no profit from it either. It wouldn't be a good idea to spend.
