I could imagine you could do it, but each " block" is about 2 oz, The Chinese hot oil I made with it came out well. You can tell it's cane sugar by the flavor.
According to the label, this palm sugar is 100% The coconut is not mentioned anywhere on the label, so I assume the state of the label is accurate (since this is a product of Thailand, and I am not sure how well labeling is monitored there).
You're not looking at a coconut here. Palm sugar plugs are pressed into these plugs.
It's just a matter of crushing

The palm sugar we know is not the palm sugar we know! Is similar to cane jaggery in taste. I'm not happy at all.
When you have to analyze just to figure out what exactly you are eating, it's not good. You can only detect the sweetness, like corn syrup, from I. It has no smell or taste. Ripped off by true professionals Let's go!.
If you want to make authentic Thai dishes at home, try palm sugar instead of cane sugar. I used to use cane sugar in Thai curry dishes. I have now switched to palm sugar and I can taste an enormous difference between these two sugars.
It's best to either grate the sugar or cut it off with a knife. Just be careful when you're handling the large quantity of sugar. I was surprised to receive palm sugar in one piece, despite its airtight packaging. I would buy from them The flavor of this ice cream is 5/5 out of 5. The value of this product is 5/5 stars. Five out of five stars for packaging. Five stars ***** for my recommendation.
This palm sugar is great because it can be used in various ways. When I bought my last palm sugar, it came in a jar, and I had trouble getting it out after a while. There will be a longer usable life for this. I use it in my curry dishes and it tastes great!.
I like the taste of it. I bought this so that I could make an authentic Thai dish. Since I had cane sugar, I used it in place of palm sugar, but the recipe called for palm sugar, and I wanted to make this recipe exactly as it was written. That dish came out pretty good and now I have a piece of original Thai cooking that hasn't expired in my kitchen. Some food from Thailand that I have is just a souvenir since they have not been sold for 5 years.
We were pleasantly surprised to receive the order faster than we had planned. As advertised, the product is exactly what it says it is. The supplier we worked with is highly recommended. It has exceeded our expectations in every way.
Thai cooking requires this real thing, and it is an absolute necessity if you are delving into the realm. Sugar that is left out in the open should be kept in a sealed container or else it will become rock hard. Use a handheld grater to scrape off as much sugar as you need.
