In the last few weeks, I have tried many types and brands of palm sugar (hard, soft, different degrees of purity) but the one that I found to be the most delicious You will not regret spending the money for this!
Compared to others, it tastes distinct, with a floral, nutty aroma that resembles butter. We drink Scotch. The saltiness in this one is stronger than in the others I've tried, and it leaves a slightly nutty taste behind. It is easy to use since it has a semi solid form, and I have used it in Thai deserts, bubble tea, curries, and others, and I was always surprised at how tasty it was. It is a regular occurrence that I pour a spoonful of sugar in the pot and enjoy its toffee flavor. For those of you who are looking for a sweetener that is healthy, but still imparts great flavor, I would recommend it.
Pad Thai is made so much better with this. Several different sugars have been tried so far and none of them come close to this one. When this stuff is combined with real tamarind paste (not the overly concentrated junk like Tamicon) and good fish sauce, you can make world-class Pad Thai! It would be great if the price dropped, I would keep on.
The best I've ever had. There is some really good quality content here. It would be intriguing to use it in a variety of ways - as kaya, to top sago desserts, for making kueh kueh, as avocados in smoothies, or even as a coffee topping. These are just the icing on the cake. When I first heard the price, I couldn't believe how expensive it was. However, it is well worth the money. Today was my first day using it, and I already wanted to get another, but they are out right now / I can only think of one negative, which is the fact that it states on the container that refrigeration is required and it was.
There was an ant in the sugar, but I thought that was all part of nature. It is my first time buying palm sugar, and I was not expecting it to be this hard (like frozen ice cream).
I use it as a finishing sweetener to cover the aftertaste of pure stevia powder, pure monk fruit powder, and erythritol. It's a tasty low glycemic index sugar alternative that I like a lot. As I've just mentioned, this sugar alternative has a caramel flavor and is not granular like many other sugars or sugar alternatives, but rather is a paste. I bought it directly from Red Boat, and I received it this morning. The coconut palm sugar had mold in it when my customer (s) bought sugar from a different brand, a different type of palm sugar than I bought. Considering this is my first purchase of palm sugar, I will either refrigerate or freeze it as I cannot afford to discard something so expensive In case of mold, it must be stored at 95). In reading the label later, I see that it should be kept chilled, so I'm glad I put it in the refrigerator. Although I wish it were more affordable, the taste is pleasant and I enjoy it. The product is good. I would buy it This is a low-glycemic sweetener, but it has the same amount of carbs per teaspoon as regular table sugar, about 4 grams. In that it is lower on the glycemic index, palm sugar is okay for people with diabetes and insulin resistance because it is gentler than table sugar, but it's still a sugar and should still be consumed in moderation. The sugar I would use in a recipe, or any sugar, as a primary sweetener, because it would spike my blood sugar levels. Using large amounts of this product is not advisable due to its high carb count. The only time I would use it is to cover up the aftertaste of pure stevia powder, pure monk fruit powder, or pure I recommend it.
The best palm sugar on earth may not be the best on earth (but it might be). Come on, $22 isn't that much. Plus shipping, it costs $70. There is no fool like a fool with his money.
As far as flavor is concerned, 4 teaspoons of palm sugar are the same as 1 teaspoon of the other brand. Due to the nature of the product, they must You have to work harder to use it.
When I bought that hard-hassle, I felt like I had won I play hockey. A puck goes in (I was somewhat disappointed when I stumbled upon palm sugar on Amazon. It was too hard for me to break them up with my mortar & pestle (made of granite). As a nestle. In the paper bag, and then I placed them in the fridge for a few hours It was difficult for me to use them in my recipe because I had to break them into small pieces and dissolve them in hot water. Also, adding sugar to the sugar solution made the Nam Jim Jeaw weak. A watery substance. Having done some more research, I came up with this idea A genuine Palmyra palm sugar will have a much thicker, syrup-like consistency than conventional sugar. If your stuff gets rock hard, generally it's adulterated with cane sugar, a far cheaper product. Thankfully, I recently ordered some Red Boat fish sauce directly from the manufacturer &ndash my new product came in just in time. A message advertising palm sugar arrived in my inbox from them A. & B. Amazon had it for sale. There's nothing fake about this stuff This is a very thick and dense fabric The creaminess of the cheese is balanced by the complexity of the Compared to coconut palm sugar I usually use, it's not as sweet. In addition to its texture, the sugar has a strong umami flavor, as well as butterscotch & caramel flavors. The aroma is caramelized, and the flavor is rich There is a smokiness to this sweetener that you won't find in others. For the first time ever, I made my own curry paste yesterday and it turned out very well. Adding this palm sugar transformed a good Thai shrimp curry into something spectacular. The palm sugar from Palmyra makes for a tasty Thai dessert if you love the exotic, complex flavors of Thai food.
