You are a baker, so make me a cake as fast as possible. Do you think the title is cheesy? That's fine. I did not use Purecane when I baked a cake, but I did use it for making Whenever we get together on Friday nights, it becomes a family favorite. But I'd prefer my kids eat less sugar to avoid added calories. Purecane products have been good to me in the past, so I wanted to try their brown sugar. After trying it on its own, I decided to experiment with it further. An easy pinch on the tongue is all that is needed. I have to be honest The fact that it tastes like nothing is scary. A smooth and instant taste - no aftertaste, no bitterness, no tang, no anything at all Purity is all there is. The quality was far superior to the Publix (private label) brown sugar that I used to buy. It's rare to find a zero-calorie sweetener that is as healthy as Purecane. I am a fan, and will bake cookies with my kids (or their friends) because I am confident they will NOT notice For sure, this is a solid product.
A while back I tried a diet that was sugar free for a while and after giving up sugar for a while I felt uneasy about eating too much sugar. (After eliminating sugar, I did not wish to resume using it after losing so much weight. )
Use of PureCane brown sugar replacement was my next natural step. Until now, I've only used it on sweet potatoes and in a GF donut recipe, but I'm impressed with the taste. The "cooling" taste that some people describe is not available to me, but it is experienced by my wife. Anyone trying to cut or reduce sugar in their daily diet owes it to themselves to try this.
My experience with the white Purecane was that it tastes great with grapefruit but not as good with tea or Next, I tried the brown Purecane, and I think I may have found something that works for me. Using Purecane instead of sugar makes it slightly sweeter, so if I normally use two teaspoons of sugar, I use one and a half teaspoons. There is no weird aftertaste at all and it tastes as close to sugar as I have found. It goes great There is a great difference in consistency between this brown sugar and the coarse crystalline brown sugar, but it can still be spooned easily for hot drinks.
Though I was skeptical about this product living up to its claims, I had tried the sugar substitute and found it satisfactory. With the passage of time, I find that brown sugar only goes well with oatmeal, which has become a staple in my diet. The real brown sugar doesn't miss me as much as I thought it would and I apply it to oatmeal whenever possible.
That being said, I was really interested in trying the brown too. As mentioned, both of these products are very good and neither has an aftertaste and both dissolve in liquids well. Don't be afraid to try them both.
Both bags had giant holes in them, so the item was double bagged. In the box, half of the product spilled out. The bag still had some bits in it that I was able to rescue. It has a sweetened chemical smell and taste. Spending money I did not have.
It does not taste exactly like sugar, but it is better tasting than other sugar substitutes I've tried.
