I sampled them when they first arrived and found them to be My brand was discontinued by Amazon, so I had to switch brands, and the price is a little higher than I was previously paying. When I removed the bag, I found flakes and grains of salt on the counter each time I did so The foil bag had a slit of 1/8 inch in the bottom that undoubtedly took some time to find. With a scissors, I opened the bag from the top so I'm fairly sure I didn't do anything to cause it I have to make an assumption that's how it got there. I didn't complain since they were fresh enough that I didn't notice, but if Amazon ever starts carrying them again, I might switch back to my original brand. The one thing that was extremely positive was that I could open quite a few nuts - probably no more than one or two. What a strange thing to do.
Photo in the posting does not match what is on the left. According to the image, the product is in a sealed bag, but I get it in a box that is not sealed. My recommendation is not to do.
It is easy to separate the shells before eating the shrimp because most of them are open. Whether you are on a low or no salt diet or don't care about taste, this is the perfect food for you. The downside

I enjoyed the flavor enough to buy more, but it wasn't so great that I'd go out and get more immediately. I was surprised to see that the other sellers refer to the package weight in the title, while this vendor does not. When comparing prices for a package of 12 oz with other 16 oz packages, the total price for a package of 12 oz is considered. This may be misleading if the buyer doesn't compare price per ounce with price per pound and not price per pound with price per pound.
Despite the perfect ratings available on-line, I bought these pistachios because I had read they tasted good. There seemed to be a lot of over-excitement I roasted them. It is not possible to return them.
They were part of a care package I ordered for my mother. The woman is an expert on pistachios. She asked me to get her more of these.
