If you want them salted, dissolve 2 teaspoons of salt in half a cup of water and stir it into the nuts in a ball for about a minute. Heat a 11 or 12" (or wider if you have one) pan on the stovetop for at least 5 minutes on high. Then, with a wooden spoon, add the wet or dry (if you don't want them salted) to the pan and continue to turn. The trick is to keep turning them until they brown a little [occasional turning burns the nuts at the bottom], then pour them out onto a wide plate right away (if you leave them in the pan to cool, you'll end up with slightly black/burnt hazelnuts). Enjoy!
Hello. 1 solitary bag
Yes. The image's expiration date can be found on the back top. Aznut is a local firm that specializes in fresh packaging on a daily basis. You can also order a 6 oz small size or a 3 lb large size if you prefer the freshness. thanks
It's not a lot of money; it's only a few dollars. Per oz., it costs $69 They're displaying the cost of a single 16 oz packet. They sometimes forget to reduce the price to half after doubling the offer. That's something I've noticed on a couple of occasions.

There's a lot more RAW than roasted in this dish. The flavor is blah, blah, blah blah blah blah blah To get any flavor out of these nuts, I'll have to roast them gently myself; however, the nuts were FRESH and had no leftover coating, which is a good thing. Despite the fact that this makes them easier to roast, these are the best hazelnuts I've ever had. I like the deep flavor of these, which is lacking in these. Roasting under low heat will bring out the flavor, but I've had them arrive without the need to roast them further. Overall, a decent, if not excellent, product.
Apparently, my perception of what hazelnuts should taste like differs from that of the majority of those who have reviewed this product. However, I prefer a flavor that screams HAZELNUT with its strength and positivity. This isn't that product: they're very crunchy (which I've never associated with hazelnuts), light in color (almost raw), and have only the faintest hint of hazelnut flavor. Nothing like I've come to expect from most roasted hazelnuts and European chocolates. It was a huge letdown. However, if I had grown up eating these "What Are They" nuts, I might have a different opinion. They may appeal to me as well. I didn't, however. I, on the other hand, do not share this opinion. br>br>And, while most of the nuts appear to be relatively fresh, I'd say that just enough of them are rancid (or on their way to becoming rancid) to taint the overall impression of these nuts, which isn't much better than Trader Joe's Roasted Hazelnut from Oregon in this regard. which are far more flavorful (though still prone to "Not So Fresh" pieces) But at a much lower price, so I guess I'll have to keep looking.
When I get these, I toast them in a pan until they're golden brown. This, in my opinion, enhances the flavor and changes the texture by drying them out a little. br>br>We eat these as part of our breakfast and sneak a few throughout the day.
Hazelnuts are my favorite nuts, but they're hard to come by in stores because they're usually mixed in with other nuts and heavily salted; however, this brand has everything I need: Roasted, unsalted, and free of genetically modified organisms. At least the two times I ordered the double 16oz pack, they were perfectly roasted and freshly packed, with no odor or unpleasant surprises. I eat them mostly at night to keep me from eating carbs, and they work well.
I was giddy with anticipation, and I had high hopes for them. However, I must say that they have an old taste to them. I mean, the flavor reminds me of old nut oil. I didn't open the second bag, but I figured I'd be able to return it. This item, however, is not returnable, according to Amazon. I purchased three bags and am extremely dissatisfied!.
It will harm the consumer's liver if they eat it.
I ordered these nuts twice, the first time because they were excellent and fresh, and the second time because they were excellent and fresh. Unfortunately, the nuts smelled and tasted oily and old. I will not be placing another order.
Really tasty and fresh. Snacks, salads, and smoothies are just a few of the ways we use them. They're roasted but not salted, which I really like.
