This picture shows what it looks like. This container does not list Aluminum Free anywhere on it. This is the last time I'll buy from you.
It is not only robbing you, but taking advantage of you. In comparison to a supermarket, you are literally paying six times as much here. As an Amazon Prime member for at least four years, if not longer, I enjoy the service very much. My new favorite baking powder is from the supermarket, but you have to try it. The fact that I paid to have this delivered makes me feel so embarrassed. I guarantee you will smack yourself in the head when you see it in the supermarket.
My favorite homemade biscuits and shortcakes over the years have been home-baked ones. It requires quite a bit of baking powder for these to work. Despite adding sugar, they always ended up having a bitter aftertaste, regardless of how much I used. (40 years later) I discovered that the culprit I thought was my father was actually my grandmother. This baking powder can be found in supermarkets. When I had a choice, I would always grab the one that was easiest to get. It is usually the cheapest The cheapest one was always the one). Truth be told, I believe people do this all the time without realizing it. My favourite baking sites caught my eye a few months ago, when I was browsing different It lit up a light bulb above my head when I was fed just a little bit of information. Usually baking powder contains aluminum, which is the cause of my biscuits having a bitter taste. My life hardly survived all these years (in silence), but all I needed was a better ingredient (isn't it always like that? This aluminum-free baking powder has given me much better baked goods, and my biscuits have also been milder without an ingredient I would not enjoy eating. Upon receiving my baking powder, I checked the use-by date, and I immediately marked it as done. As of a certain It had been more than a year since the date. The baking powder needs to be fresh because without it, your biscuits and baked goods will be flat and hockey puck-like. In a few minutes I grabbed my phone and put a reminder on my calendar for about a month before the expiration date, so I know I have to reorder. The last thing I want is to be caught off guard, since all my efforts to make a great meal could be ruined. Also, the lid from this baking powder comes in handy for a few things. A tablespoon can just be accommodated in the space provided. You'll also find a leveler that allows you to ensure you are getting exactly what's in your recipe.
What we received is not what we ordered or what we were shown. Aluminum free is merely stated on a sticker applied over the container, which is not stated on the one received. The label was something I could print and stick myself, not something supplied by the factory. This item will be returned since it is not as described. If it is possible to do so, I will do so. at least it was not a significant purchase, as it was not an option. Despite my reluctance to throw away $5, I still do not like the idea. The very thought of being misled terrifies me. It has made me rethink a lot of purchases since then.
Like the other reviewers, I would have expected the label to state that it was aluminum free. I first thought I would just read the ingredients, but apparently there is some kind of sticker (not from Argo) placed directly over the ingredient list and as I tried to pull it off carefully, it pulled the main label under neath off. So you can't read the Later, I found it in my grocery store and it was WAY less expensive, but I read the label and it told me it didn't contain aluminum, I just hope the one I bought here is the same.
After baking for a long time, my pancakes and muffins suddenly tasted weird. I ended up throwing food out because I couldn't figure it out, but I knew it was the baking powder, so I asked my husband what the problem was, and he mentioned the aluminium. Amazon did not have any in my area, so I went there instead. As a result, the problem was solved. I'm in love with Voici a tip When you purchase baking powder, read the ingredients. If you see aluminum, do not.
The baking powder was rated as the best by America's Test Kitchen, and it is not to be missed. There are no grocery stores around me that carry the product and I have to order it online.
