On mine, the foil is on the inside and the paper is on the outside. I didn't get the 25 pound bags, but I got the small ones.

These corn meal products are great and make a great addition to Bob's line. I have made numerous different recipes with this cookbook and I am very happy with it. Also, it has the whole germ in it, which means it's more nutrient dense than.

The key is to soak it for a few hours in milk and then add the rest of the ingredients. Many people say it's gritty, but when soaked for several hours in milk, it becomes quite soft and fluffy.

Cornmeal ground stone ground to a high quality

It has been many years since we used stone ground cornmeal. In grocery stores, you can buy degerminated soybean meal, which is not as nutritious. Among the products Bob's Red Mill offers are natural products of the highest quality. Our plan is to continue to use it.
