Is just like eating at It is not available in my area but it is a wonderful product
5/5

Considering how close I am to using up my package by the expiration date, I'm sure I will get through it much earlier than expected.

We much prefer using this flour to make our ployes from scratch, instead of buying them pre-made. I mixed it up. Follow the steps below to get our recipe

*Put on a kettle of water * Assemble the ingredients in a large bowl by mixing A cup of Acadian Buckwheat flour (Bouchard's is my favorite!)
. The following amounts of all-purpose flour are to be used *5. Blend well five tsp baking powder with one tsp salt. ***Mix all dry ingredients one at a time. look them up together, but I'm lazy & I don't want to wash that sifter, and I just mix it ) Stir ingredients in. Add 75 c cold water (I use a wood spoon for this part. )

* Stir in just enough boiling water to make a thin batter, almost like Add some water, stir a bit, and add more if it is too dry. A cup of water is less than two cups, but three cups is better. Combine all ingredients and stir until ****Leave the batter to rest for 10 minutes before mixing it again. Make a dry frying pan hot and dry. My preference is either to use a large nonstick griddle or a well-seasoned cast iron skillet. You will need about 1/4 C of batter for a 5" wide pancake. You should be able to spread it easily with the back of your ladle, but if it isn't, It should begin to bubble like crazy, and begin to dry from the edges in just a few seconds. Keep your cool - don't flip When the air bubbles stop coming from the surface, the pancakes are done! The pancakes should only be cooked on one side.

The product is not packaged well for shipping, and it has a mild flavor
4/5

I am trying buckwheat flour for the first time. The taste of this flour is actually very mild compared to that of dark buckwheat flour I ordinarily use. It seems that the flour has been milled very finely, giving baked goods a great texture. It was only the packaging that I had an issue with. It looked like the flour bag was in a box with bubble wrap inside. Since this is a food product, it needs to be properly packaged. In order to protect the flour from contamination, it is advised to place the paper bag in a sealed plastic bag, so that in the event the bag tears, the flour will not leak out. As a result of the small tear on the bag, there was loose flour in the box even though the bag wasn't badly torn.

It doesn't have a nutty taste
3/5

The food does not have any flavor. Sorry to hear that. In the box, a package had already been opened. Whenever I opened the box of flour, there was flour everywhere. In addition, the product itself is important. The flour has no taste or smell and will not add any value to any baking recipe. I will not purchase this flour Bob's Red Mill will probably not have real buckwheat flour for a while, so I will just wait until the pandemic subsides.

The flour is very nice! It tastes so good - I love the flour The milled flour is fine, has a pleasant nutty flavor, and is a tad lighter in color than other buckwheat flour Despite the fact that this is non-GMO, there are some things that are not The crepes tasted like they were made with Caputo 00 Red, which is very dark and bitter tasting
5/5

I added 1 teaspoon of xanthan to 1 cup of buckwheat (together with all the regular ingredients for crepes). I loved these, not exactly elastic, but with just the right amount of stretch, light and nutty, they went perfect with apricot jam, cream cheese, The next step will be to make the 'soba noodles' In addition, gluten-free products are available You get it free of charge! I love it.

There is a need for better packaging
4/5

We were satisfied with the product. I made buckwheat pancakes the day after the box arrived, and they turned out fantastic. In the future, I hope to use this 'flour' in more recipes, but the packaging was unpleasant. A plastic bag was placed over the bag, and then a box was placed on top of it. There was enough 'flour' on the bag to leave a rip in the paper bag and I wouldn't use the product, unlike some hyper-sensitives who would claim that the product was contaminated. But we need to come up with a better package for the buckwheat. I have no problem with the flour, everything is fine. They were ground and tasted just fine after milling.

This is buckwheat of the highest quality
5/5

I've rarely worked with buckwheat flour before, but this is the best I've found. Gluten is not an issue for me The food I bake is gluten-free, and I have made gluten-free cookies We have been giving away free foods for more than two decades now. My knowledge of the difference a lighter buckwheat can make is nothing short of astonishing. Although the flavor is still as strong as it ever was, the lightness of the flour results in a paler baked good and a fluffier one as well. The fluffiest and gluten-free dessert The fact that you can still get buckwheat without going gluten-free is quite impressive. * If you're watching your gluten intake or just want to try baking with this grain, it's delicious, easy to work with, and worth the price. I will definitely choose it.

This gluten free flour is good and doesn't have any grit
5/5

I am on a gluten-free diet, and I am loving it! It's a free diet and I love it! The fact that there is a light buckwheat flour was a surprise to me. For the past six months, I have been using Bob's Buckwheat Flour. The flour is used in most of the recipes in the "Against the Grain" cookbook. Almost any recipe can be made with the flour. You can get a slightly leavened and crusty bread by using some recipes. There is a need for additional tapioca starch and baking flour. My inexperience with gluten has nothing to do with the flour, but rather it is due to my lack of experience. Baking for free is always nice. There is no grit in the flour, and it has a very neutral flavor. Waffles are back on the menu! I'm so grateful to GOD, thank you so much! The worst thing about a heavy, gluten-free bread is its texture, it's weight, its texture, its texture You're getting a waffle for free. It would be nice if I could make a gluten-free product Free chocolate chip biscuits! Feel free to share this offer with your friends!.

Probably the best flour I've ever had
5/5

My baking has never been the same since I discovered this flour. It is hard for me to be gluten-free. It really drives me crazy! If you use this amazing buckwheat flour instead of half the flour, all gluten free flour tastes like flatgummy nastiness. The taste of everything is now better. buckwheat pancakes are a favorite among my family members. My customers have been begging me for buckwheat beagles, and I have an order for buckwheat hamburger buns. You'll have to come see for yourself. Saving yourself a ton of money can be a great thing if you're gluten free. Get ready to bake with this fantastic flour and Pamela's bread mix. Choosing half buckwheat and half Pamela's will let you enjoy food so good you will think you never had gluten.
