The difference between life and death
5/5

It was true that his husband had diabetes regardless of the number or what his doctor It felt as if I was losing the person I married 34 years ago to exhaustion, brain fog, and frequent urination. Our first attempt was with the keto diet, but excessive protein was part of it. We consume a large amount of hulled barley as one of our primary carbohydrates. It is prepared the same as brown rice and I cook it for 20 minutes and drain it. Since it takes a long time for it to absorb nutrients, I never put it in an Instant Pot. As a substitute, I add it to sautéed onions and mushrooms or any rice or pasta dish.

There's a lot of barley in the bag
5/5

I know that the grocery store I go to only sells pearled barley, which, as I understand it, removes most (if not all) of the healthy fiber from the grain. It was important to me that the barley retain its It caught my attention when I saw it here on Amazon The weight was ten pounds. The amount of barley I have is too much. What do I do with it? My favorite way to make it is to cook it with a cup of black beans in my Instant Pot and to grind up a cup of barley and bake it Barley is the substance in question. Neither magic beans nor a flashy item are involved. The product is just barley, and a lot of it, as the advertisement stated. The brand is recommended to anyone and I plan to return to it in the future.

We get up early to start our day
5/5

We get 1/2 cup of barley, 1 1/2 cups of water on the stove and turn it down to med-low when we get up. Put the pot on the stove and simmer for 50 to 60 minutes. As soon as it's ready, we'll be ready too. This warm cup of coffee, with walnuts roasted from our own walnut tree, some diced apples, and no sugar for the two of us, is enough to keep us going for hours on end. We have a farm and lots of outdoor work, are retired, and we absolutely love life. From time to time, we also add berries frozen.

I make a pot with plenty of water each day to make barley water which, from what I understand, In this batch I will cook dried veggies, bay leaves, turmeric, black pepper, onion powder, amino acids, and I will add dried shrimp before finishing it off.

The Food to Live brand is cheaper in bulk
4/5

I bought this stuff a week ago to try for the first time. It is delicious, a good alternative to rice and grits, but it is very expensive. I think I paid about $7 for a can. The price was 98 cents for a pound (I was trying it for the first time), but I wasn't sure I'd enjoy There's a price increase of $15 since I checked. One pound for only one! It's only a week away! It is $19 for 3 lbs. A pound of meat is the same price as a pound of meat! It is outrageous to charge that much. A pound of beef is 23 cents. My size might be 48, so I'll give that a shot.

A fresh barley a perfect for milling, dressings, soups
5/5

The fact that I own a flour mill led me to mill the flour for an otherwise complicated, ingredient-based recipe It is wise to eat In addition to hulled barley, there were several other key However, I was unable to find it in my It's here I bought it, and I'm not regretting As soon as I get it, I'll be able to use it in other recipes, including soup and salad. In addition to the fresh barley, the expiration date for the barley was four years in As a result of the reclosable bag, I don't have to waste a second bag to contain the grain. A small bag like this won't hold much There may be two cups in this recipe 1 cup and a little more of cooked barley will be sufficient for the majority of people, since 1 cup expands to 3 cups. That was a very different order from the last one
3/5

The previous order I placed was a 5lb bag (pic-) It was interesting and I enjoyed However, the bag I ordered was a 10lb bag (pic) In 1), it is totally different from the first one. There is more raw meat on this order and it looks like it will be very difficult to cook it compared to a The quality of the product is expected to be consistent.

Take control of your health by eliminating sugar! I have an older family with a lot of diabetic members
5/5

Over the past few months, we have begun to reduce sugar and eat more whole-grain Grain foods have huge benefits for our health because they provide a reduced amount of sugar, reducing inflammation and out-migration Hulled barley can control appetite. It is a great substitute for inflammatory grains You should eat high carb food such as potatoes or white rice because they contain fiber, which helps your body digest the carbs. There are many types of stir-fries that I have I. Fritz and S. Strogonov There are several types of dishes that go particularly well with Soups can also be edified with a little flair. You can't beat that!.
