I specifically requested "unhulled" barley for my use. This is the true "wholegrain" grain, in my opinion. This will be used for two purposes: first, to make parley drink by simply boiling the grains and eating or discarding the grains; and second, to make parley soup by simply boiling the grains and eating or discarding the grains. second, make bread from the unhulled barley by milling/grinding it into a rough flower. This has to be the best diabetic bread I've ever tasted. The GI of barley is half of wheat's; Consider what happens when you add hull to the mix. Don't just take my word for it; give it a shot.
This flour, when combined with whole wheat, produces the most delicious, soft, and oil-free chapatis.
As an older American, I value a whole grain cereal that hasn't been stripped of its nutrients and fiber. Fiber and prebiotics are abundant in this product. It's a manna for digestive system health when it's combined with a probiotic. br> Excellent product for those looking to avoid nutrient-depleted industrial food.
The seed was never sown. The seeds never grew. I was attempting to grow barley grass for use in green beverages. The seller made no attempt to rectify the situation.
It was delivered in a way that prevented it from spilling out. It had a fantastic flavor.
It's a great deal for the money.
It appeals to my tastes. It's something I cook and eat, and I really enjoy it. I have the option of sprouting it if I so desire.
