The rice stays in shape even if you pull the plastic slowly. It tastes good, and it's easy to open if you pull the plastic slowly. The best grade of the nori is Gold, then Silver, Blue, Red, Yellow, and Green is the last color. I always make sure my kids have Onigiri for their school snack time. Considering it is thin and the flavor it is probably a Red or Yellow. However, I bought this package at Mitsuwa in NJ yesterday and they sell them for a much lower price, so at least I know that I can afford to buy this.
My dream was to get this for as long as possible, so I was finally able to get it. It usually looks nicer and the nori stays crunchy and fresh when wrapped in foil, so I wanted to change things up. Typically, I wrap my onigiri in plastic wrap but I was hoping the nori would stay crisp. Getting them gave me a sense of excitement and today, Feb 2, 2021, I tried them out for the first time. I can tell you right now that figuring out how to work with these wrappers is not easy. I had trouble getting it to work for me even though it seemed simple. It wasn't easy to wrap all the onigiris, but I was able to wrap at least six, with a final result that looked nice but not perfect.
