Without a doubt! I recommend soaking them first before using them. And on the back of the package is a tasty recipe for miso soup. It has been my pleasure to order this product multiple
This is a large bag and depending on how often and how much you use it, it may last you a few months or a long time. *br>If stored properly, the bag will last for quite some time. So there isn't much need to worry. If possible, breaking it up into small airtight containers or ziplock bags (whichever you prefer) is the most practical way to store it until later. Store in a cool, dry place and preferably out of sunlight. If you decide on how much to break it up, try to breakdown about 4 weeks of supplies per container. If you need more or less, do it accordingly. The ones I keep in the kitchen counter are stashed in one of the cabinets under the counter.

From Korea, we usually purchase Wakame seaweed for our family. A lot of people have given this a positive review on Amazon. Because I did not notice it came from China, I made an error. Here are some observations I made after it was soaked. The color is not an intense deep rich green like we are accustomed to seeing. There is a lack of flavor in the flavor. As regards to China's waters, I would take caution because their pollution laws are very lax. I couldn't return an item to Amazon after I tried to return it, but the system took me to a page saying I could not return it?.
Although it is unlikely that this will be shown, this is the most awful food I have ever In other words, that's 77 years of life. After gagging and spitting it out, I had to wash my mouth with mouth wash to get rid of the taste of it. I threw it away as soon as I got out of the bathroom. Please accept our apologies, this one gets 9 thumbs down.
Pour well into a colander, and then squeeze as much moisture out as you can. This recipe calls for 1/2" Murin (unseasoned rice vinegar)*1/2 teaspoon melted honey*1/2 cup toasted sesame oil*1 1/2 tablespoons peanut butter*1/4 cup tamari sauce (or more according to your taste)*- It can be seasoned with the following Red Pepper Flakes
Mix it all together and put it in the fridge overnight to let the flavors blend. The dish should be served You'll enjoy it.
I am Chinese so this is not just xenophobic sentiment. My wakame usually comes from Korea or Japan. I've tried several types of wakame in the past. These nasty pills are more powerful than laxatives available at the drug store. After trying to cook miso soup a few times, I couldn't figure out why I'd always have such bad reactions to it, until I changed this one ingredient out. The worst of the worst.
It claims to come from Shandong Province on the website In addition, there is an estimated population of 90 million people in the province, making it not the most ideal location for aquaculture. In addition to this, Shandong has no coasts on the Pacific Ocean, just the Yellow Sea and Bohai A large chunk of the Japanese products I sell here come from the closest point of manufacture to Japan in China- Essentially the entire peninsula of Korea lies between Shandong and Japan, and so the seaweed you're getting from Emerald Cove is from a region where both China and Korea contaminate their waters with pollution. That all this comes to light after I have received my shipment is very disappointing.
My Geiger counter, which I own and use regularly, was unable to detect any levels above ambient (about 20 cpm) from this package. Especially since this is coming from the Pacific, I was most concerned. There is a good flavor to the soup.
Can't really figure out what to think about this. don't care that it's from China, I can live with that. There is no matter how poorly packaged and how many holes are in the plastic the item had. What if "this product may cause cancer, birth defects, or other adverse effects?"? "Do they believe consumption of seaweed is the cause of This hasn't been mentioned in any other reviews that I've seen. Does the seaweed figure into the discussion? I would appreciate the chance to be corrected if I am wrong. would like to try the seaweed, but having a sticker that states it contains carcinogenic chemicals isn't the most appetizing thing ever.
Does a lot for you. There is an expansion of 10 times or more. I love the taste and texture of it. It has no salt added to it. I like how easy it is.
