The chocolate flavoring was bought to add to various drinks (coffee, alcohol, etc. ) for a stronger chocolate taste. That being said, I have yet to find any drink that it actually adds a chocolate taste to. I haven't even tried it in baking.
There was a call for 1 in the recipe. For a 5 gallon batch of ice cream, use 5 oz of Chocolate Extract. Upon completion of the batch and after it was kegged and carbonated, the beer tasted very smooth, but the intensity of the chocolate flavor was too strong for me. In my opinion, I would use it again, but with a 1 increase instead of 2 increase. The weight of the oz, or even the weight of 0 oz would be adequate. The size of an orange is 8 ounces.
