Questions & Answers
Do you get a cough syrup taste from other scones? If you follow the recipe exactly, these scones will be delicious. I've come to the conclusion that I don't care for scones in general—they're too dry and crumbly—but these were acceptable scones. For baked goods, I like to use fresh or frozen blueberries. Cough syrups, by the way, aren't they usually cherry-flavored?
Styles in the English language Use a tad less water (1 table spoon) than the recipe calls for.
It doesn't get much simpler than that - Simply add water to make a mixture! br>Bake after that.
Yes, that is correct. On their website, it costs more, but I get mine in the gourmet section of HomeGoods/Marshalls/T J Maxx. Typically, you will be charged $4. When you consider that all you have to do is add water, it's a true steal. I put these in gift baskets because they only require water and can be topped off with jams, crackers, and other goodies. in order to complete the basket

biscuits made from the ground I wasn't looking for a scone package when I came across it while looking for a dough cutter, so I didn't buy it. br>br>This morning (single), I woke up, started making coffee, and half awake saw the blueberry scone bag, and my stomach began to grow! I'd only ever had "store bought" scones before, and they were delicious (scones are a bit of a rarity in the South). br>br>They're simple to put together (the chef in me wanted to use buttermilk instead of water, but I went with water). I baked them and sipped my coffee while waiting for them to finish. br>br>I did leave them in the oven for a few minutes longer to give them a nice brown tint. WOW is all I have to say. How did they get so much flavor from such a small package? These are a must-try! br>br>.
These weren't overly dry, and the blueberries were delicious. Better than the pre-prepared ones I bought at the store. I've had better in bakeries, but these were incredibly simple to make. Simply pour in the water and stir to combine. I made mine a little bigger than the recipe called for. I got six scones out of the deal. Without refrigeration, they lasted a few days. I placed them in a gallon baggie that was left open rather than zipped shut.
(Pack of 3) I've tried almost every flavor of scones made by this company, and I'm a big fan. Except for the blueberry, these are excellent scones. The first one left a waxy residue in my mouth after I ate it. What the hell is going on here? Other flavors are available. They're much superior. Furthermore, it is overpriced. I was able to purchase a package for just over $4 in Alaska. Just putting it out there.
Scones that are delicious. Tip: To get a golden brown scone, beat an egg white and brush it on before baking. Also, be careful not to overbake. Check if it's done with a toothpick. This recipe yields approximately 8 large scones. They're also good for freezing.
They're simple to make and come out light and fluffy in the oven. They're incredibly tasty. I'm looking forward to trying the other flavors, as I'm sure they'll be just as good! They are someone I would recommend to anyone for any occasion!.
I took a chance and ordered them in the hopes that they would turn out well. They taste great. Because one bag makes far too many scones for one person, I reduced the instructions on the bag to calculate for two scones, which turned out beautifully. I recently tried some scones from my grocery store's freezer section, but they were nothing like these Sticky Fingers scones. I'll be ordering more and experimenting with different flavors in the near future!.
The blueberry scone mix is my favorite, but all of the Sticky Fingers scone mixes are delicious. When I want something to eat with my tea, I freeze leftovers and reheat them in the toaster oven. It's that simple.
They're also incredibly tasty. This is the second time I've bought something like this. I strongly advise you to purchase them.
