Although I make 6 large muffins, the package specifies 12 standard muffins.
The most recent order was for 12 boxes, which were never available in stores because they were always sold out. For breakfast, I prefer muffins.
The order comes with a 9-ounce box. a carton of eggs Along with some vegetable oil, water (or milk) is added.
I'm not sure why it's so much more expensive, unless it's because they're difficult to come by in stores and this seller is taking advantage of that.

I make this muffin mix as directed in a 9x9 square ceramic baking dish to have a quick tasty snack for tea/coffee or even breakfast. In the summer, I replace the canned blueberries in the mix with fresh blueberries. (When the local berries are finished for the season, I save the canned berries for later. ) ) The muffin batter isn't overly sweet, and the fresh berries add a homemade touch. For added texture, I've also used pecans and walnuts on occasion. br>A crumble topping packet used to be included in the package, but it is no longer included. When I don't want to make my own batch of blueberry goodness, this is still a go-to item in my pantry. Enjoy! WOW! br>br>UPDATE ON 9/05/2021) What is the cause of such a large price increase? I used my subscribe and save discount on AMAZON to purchase four single boxes, which will be delivered on July 1st, 2021. In addition, this item came with a $6 coupon. Sorry, but I'm not going to buy them until the price drops a lot!.
Except for driving to Maine and picking your own real blueberries (which, by the way, are "fake" blueberries, just like "Red Delicious" apples aren't - a tasteless - This is the simplest way to have real blueberry muffins (if you understand that statement, you'll understand this review). Real blueberries are tiny nuggets of flavor that can only be found in the freezer section *or* in Betty Crocker's Wild Blueberry mix, thanks to the magic of canning. "What is your secret?" people will wonder if you make this. " This is a valuable information to share.
If you plan to make bread with this package, keep in mind that the bread instructions differ slightly from the muffin instructions. In any case, you can't go wrong with this brand; whatever you make comes out moist and delicious every time. Simply purchase it and enjoy it, as I am confident you will. I only wish there were more flavors to choose from.
Betty Crocker blueberry muffin mix is superior to homemade blueberry muffins; I've tried making homemade blueberry muffins and they are simply not the same! I prefer these small blueberries to the large blueberries that you have to use. And no matter how hard I try, I can't replicate the muffin mix when I make them from scratch. Betty Crocker, I owe you a debt of gratitude.
They're fantastic. Muffins with wild blueberries that are easy to make and bake! That is not the case. This is the genuine article. They arrived quickly with Prime. I took a photo to brag about to a friend. I'll update this review to include a picture of the finished product.
I made these and realized while they were baking that I had forgotten to put the eggs in! I was afraid they'd be terrible, or at the very least, as tough as a brick. They were, however, quite good, though not as good as they had been in the past when I had done everything correctly.
I just finished making these, and they smell and taste fantastic. I didn't realize the blueberries in the box were canned; I assumed they'd already been dehydrated and mixed in with the powdered mix. It was a lot of fun to put together, and I'm looking forward to breakfast now.
I make an effort to keep one in the house at all times. It's wonderful to be able to make freshly baked muffins whenever you want. They don't take long to prepare, and I always bake them for two minutes less than the recommended time to ensure that they are moist and soft.
