My wife will eat these, and she is not gluten intolerant. She usually says she doesn't want to eat my gluten-free food because I need it or it's too expensive, and I know she doesn't want to say she doesn't like it. These cookies, on the other hand, are consumed by her. They're not as expensive as other gluten-free snacks, and they taste just like a traditional gluten-containing cookie.
Well, we discovered that my husband, at the age of 63, was allergic to wheat, and at that age, you love cookies, especially chocolate chip, so we make ours with butter, which makes for the best cookie ever.
They are, however, simple to prepare and tasty! They don't taste gluten-free at all!.
