I'll stick to wasabi powder in its purest form. I really wanted to like this product because I've had much better results with wasabi powder in the past. We've tried both the regular and the spicy versions. It's not the same stuff, as you can see from the listing photo and our photo. It doesn't matter if there's food coloring in it; what matters is that you can't control the flavor or heat. The normal gives you a nice rush, whereas this wasabi is like a chemical fire, no matter how small the drop, and has no flavor. And we're not amateurs by any stretch of the imagination. It had to be a blunder on the seller's part.
Not very good, and the quantity shown for sale is incorrect. The quality of the product is satisfactory. I've tried a lot of wasabi, and this isn't one of the best. They also promote three 90g tubes. However, the tubes are only 45 grams each, implying that they are lying about the product size; the same size tube can be purchased for less than $2 at your local KROGER. 00 per tube, you can get the exact BRAND AND AMOUNT for less than $6 at Kroger. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.
There are eight ingredients in this product, with horseradish being the first, water being the second, and wasabi being the last and least. In comparison to the 1. size S x B "Premium" wasabi, which contains no horse radish and lists wasabi as the first ingredient. I didn't do a taste test because I plan to return it after comparing it to the label of my previous premium box.
If you buy this wasabi and it says "hot," a drop will literally set your nose on fire. If you prefer to taste your food, go for the regular version, or go for the "hot" version if you want to be tortured.
Extra large tubes for a great price, with a long shelf life! I'm very happy with them and will buy them again!.
