When eating sushi rolls, it helps to clear your sinuses while also adding a nice flavor.
The ingredients do not contain MSG and are gluten-free.
I microwaved it on its own, but not on a plate. It was added to a frozen Japanese dinner that took only a few minutes to heat up. It held up well in the microwave, but because this Wasabi product is so potent, I didn't like it heated with the dish and have since added it afterward. Wasabi is lightly heated rather than fully heated when done immediately after microwaving. If it helps, mine is a 1100 watt microwave.

Well. The "WOOHOO" in Woohoo is truly put to the test with this stuff. This is the stuff that makes your chest hair grow; it's hot in your mouth, but the heat dissipates as soon as it passes through the swallowing tube. You'll want to take another bite as soon as possible. Take it easy at first if this is your first time. For a brief moment, the heat threatens to suffocate you. This is the real deal, and it's well worth the money.
But boyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy This will clear your sinuses in a flash and turn you into a dragon who breathes fire! It's thick and textured like good wasabi from a sushi restaurant, but it's a lot hotter - The label's "hot" isn't a joke! That said, I still enjoy it, but I can only use the pea-sized amount shown in the photo with a large mouthful of food, and I don't use it on every bite. If you like it hot, hot, hot, this is the one for you! I'll look for a medium heat next time so I can use more per meal.
If you use more than a small amount of it on tuna, it will clear your sinuses. It's not for the faint of heart, but it's fantastic.
I was wrong, this stuff is definitely hotter than any Wasabi I've ever had in a restaurant or in my life, with a super fresh taste that reminds me of what you might find in Asia rather than what we're used to here in the US. In any case, it's inexpensive, and you're missing out if you don't try it at least once! Even if Wasabi is already included in your order.
I'll start by saying that I really like this Wasabi; it's just spicier and thinner than the Wasabi I'm used to getting when I go out to eat. Having said that, I believe this tube will last me an eternity because I use a lot less of it because it is quite spicy.
There are no chopsticks available! This is the genuine article! I don't need to go to a Chinese restaurant to eat wasabi because I keep it in my fridge. There's a lot of wasabi flavor and heat in this! If you're still undecided, get off the fence and press the order button. Start with a small amount until you've established your tolerance for this product. My only criticism is that it's a little pricey. The chopsticks are nowhere to be found.
To be clear, this isn't a pure wassabi paste (and who'd think it at that price!). As a result, the flavor is intense, and the spiciness is incredible. I'm pretty sure this level of intensity and flavor will turn off purist "wassabi" fans looking for a more subtle flavor, but it was exactly what I needed.
