With one exception, I think the Organicville Dijon Organic Mustard fits my preferences for a dijon mustard — it's not quite mild enough. You can taste some salt in it. Despite being not obvious when using, it leaves an aftertaste. It was not overwhelming, and as my taste buds react to salt differently than most people, it might not bother others. I recommend it nonetheless. While I would love to see more manufacturers switch to glass bottles, I'm okay with plastic ones. The glass that I use won't harm the environment even though my local recycling program does not handle recyclables. It may be nasty if it breaks, but is less harmful in the long run. The delicious hydrocarbons we're meant to get in every mouthful aren't presented to us.
There are many of those in small glass bottles that end up in my refrigerator's back. When dropped, the bottle does not break. It is six inches tall, fits very neatly on the fridge door shelf, and does not break when slid on the floor. This is a highly recommended variety and brand!.
I rarely like mustard in general, but this one had me changed my mind. A number of things can be made with this material. My cooking arsenal has just gotten stronger thanks to the new addition.
It is the next best one after Trader Joe's Dijon style mustard, and the second best one is I just had to clarify that TJ's is the winning store, but this is the best alternative store.
It is one of our favorites.
The last time I had this, it was served as a topping on hotdogs. In addition to being organic, I like the taste.
We enjoyed the taste and texture of the food.
It tastes fine, but for salad, I intend to make souse.
