Yes, they are little oily, but if you add vinegar, or lemon juice, a few capers, some cheese, and Italian bread, they will surely transform into something delicious! Olive oil should be used for dipping bread.

Make sure you know what you're buying

There was no taste left in any of the ingredients. The artichokes had no taste, the peppers had no taste, the pearl onions had no taste, the pickles had no taste, this company really messed up that product. I But the good thing about this product is the olive oil. I saved that and used it to make a delicious salad dressing.

There are few sweet peppers and olives in the salad, most are artichokes, mushroom, onions, and capers, without any flavor. All of this is very oily, extremely disappointing.

Customer service of the highest standard

Due to the fact that I am very happy to have found this product on Amazon and use it in my Salata di Riso, I bought an extremely large quantity. The vacuum seal had broken and the manufacturer had no idea when it occurred the product had to be discarded. I reviewed Botticelli's Foods along with its bad customer service, and Botticelli Foods promptly sent me a very nice replacement jar set for the unusable one I received. This was followed by a very nice letter of apology that I received just a couple of days after I made the The Botticelli Foods and the business I did with them would qualify for my highest recommendation. rare to find a company that values its customer service and reputation so much. The reviews indicate it is sunflower oil, and not olive oil, as indicated in other reviews. There was only one problem all of the boxes were covered in The two boxes I got are 6 each (my order included 6 of each). One jar was left open, but the remaining jars It was discovered that one of the jars was not sealed and had some oil on the surface. I purchased these for a low price, but when I tried to request a refund for the one jar, I was told the item was not returnable. There was no.

Due to the same size of all of the components, there is fairly equal proportions of each (as opposed to, say, a large artichoke quarter, a few capers, and a seared packed tightly in the jar, so not much of the lightly acidic oil/vinegar/herb "brine" is left (what do you call it? Despite its very high price, this product, which must have escaped me by chance or is not available in grocery stores, is completely worth the money.
