It was the Zatarains spice mix I used to buy and use as the base for my red beans, sausage, and rice, and I always thought that it Red beans and sausage rice were what I was going to have when the order arrived, and I drooled just thinking about it. I don't think this is it. I was expecting to see more than just a box of rice with a dozen or so dried beans and some spices, but it turned out This stuff is awful! Zatarains is one of our most popular brands here in Louisiana, but this stuff is terrible! Spicy rice is right up your alley if you like it spicy. The only red beans and rice you will find elsewhere are red beans and rice. What kind of a joke is it to name a box of rice "red beans?" To add insult to injury, it's poor quality rice.
