like the savory flavor of this rice dish, and its texture is perfect. Although there was not a great deal of TVP in this instant meal, the texture and "mouth feel" were excellent! Yes, this and all Loma Linda Blue instant meals pouches are made in Thailand, but they are cleaner and more natural than the Loma Linda canned products. A Loma Linda product's price point is normally determined by Amazon, but at $19, it is not. I would say this is a DOUBLE BARGAIN for just 99 cents for 6 pouches (at the time of writing). Since geographic availability prevents me from purchasing it locally, I am glad to buy it again. Again, my thanks to Loma Linda. I'm sure you will always be my favorite vegetarian brand.

Since there is no gluten in it, I can heat up my lunch in 60 seconds, finished it in 10 minutes, and spend the rest of my lunch hour reading, learning a language, or taking a walk! It has been a wonderful afternoon, and I feel full! Do you realize what a great accomplishment that is?.

I just don't get the flavor payoff from this, and the calorie count is high. This was my second order of their chipotle bowl that I rolled the dice on. Not at all. We don't need your help. A large portion of the pineapple bits have rough ends that add to the uneven texture. The rice is mushy as well and the pineapple bits are a bit mushy too. This was a little bland without the siracha. I added siracha to make it more flavorful, but I won't order.

I had a decent meal. There are pineapple, peas, bits of bell pepper, and TVP in this Hawaiian fried rice. This drink has a nice pineapple flavor. It's sweet but not very salty. There is quite a bit of subtlety in the TVP. It probably would be recommended due to its reasonable price and decent taste.

I do have one complaint, however, and that is how filling it is. you eat only half of the serving at first and save the rest for.

This is my favorite! Each pouch contains a single serving that you can heat up Lunch is great with this dish. I say they are worth the price, though they are a bit pricey.
