Yes, that is correct. To separate the clumps of rice, you "knead" the package a little, then tear about 2" across the top, microwave for 90 seconds, open, pour into a dish, fluff, and serve. This is something I use frequently and enjoy.

Despite the fact that I am older and live alone, I still enjoy cooking for myself. I, on the other hand, dislike having a lot of leftovers. So I make do with a few "convenience" items, such as this Uncle Ben's Basmati Ready Rice. br>br>I use it as a base for quick stir-fries. fries (beef, chicken, or shrimp), frozen Asian vegetables, and a good-quality salad dressing sauce of exceptional quality) It's the ideal serving size for two people. One for right now, one for later today or tomorrow. Microwaved rice had me skeptical at first, but it turned out to be a hit. Knead it first before nuking it - it's a must. It's a lot easier to "fluff" it up before serving. br>br>This is something I always have on hand - You can also use it with chili, southwestern dishes, and so on; it's like the ideal rice for almost any cuisine, and having it delivered by Amazon is the cherry on top. Love it!.
When you take them out of the microwave, they do get a little steamy, so be careful. The flavor is exactly what you'd expect, and they last as long as you'd expect (plus some, in my experience). The rice comes out perfectly and does not appear to have been broken down, as is often the case when re-heating rice. It's also not as hard to chew as re-heated rice, which is a problem with re-heated rice. rice that has been heated (at least for a few pieces in the batch that will be re-heated) rice that has been heated). br>These are easy to ship via Amazon Prime and end up being a good deal.
Uncle Ben, in the year 2021, you really outdid yourself. br> If you despise cooking rice and, in particular, if your Basmati turns out soupy, lumpy, or tasteless, this is a must-have. br> It's a life-changing experience.
It has excellent flavor and is extremely inexpensive. It's mostly for the sake of convenience.
It's also incredibly soft and flavorful.
In the packing process, there is a major problem with quality control. Bacteria culturing was found in some of the packages long after the expiration date. I don't think it's worth it to take the chance.
It only takes a minute to cook in the microwave. I always buy a bunch of these when they're on sale.
The flavor and quality are both outstanding. For me, a monthly subscription is ideal.
