I've frozen leftovers for up to a few months before defrosting and reheating. They tasted exactly the same as they did when I first opened the can. Anything you can't eat right away after opening the can should be frozen.
Escargot can be frozen, so it's not a problem to eat frozen escargot. br>However, this is the first time we've heard of a can arriving completely frozen, to the point where it bulges on its own. Allowing the escargot to thaw and open the can is the only way to determine if it has been damaged in any way.

They don't just mean large; they mean EXTRA LARGE. These were the colossal escargots I'd ever seen. My escargot dishes' wells were just big enough for them. Despite their size, they were tender and moist, and the garlic butter went perfectly with them. Before using them, I would suggest rinsing and cleaning them. I didn't do that in the first round, and there was some unappealing sandy grit strewn about. They were fine after cleaning and rinsing them; next time, I'll order smaller escargot.
My grandchildren adore escargot, and this product contains plenty of them to satisfy their cravings. This is a product I have previously purchased and will continue to do so in the future.
This is the first time I've tried canned snails; I've always foraged for them at home, but I'm glad I did; they're clean, tasty, and a good size.
I tried a few different brands and Saveurs was by far the best: nice size, not broken, and best flavor. The cleanliness is outstanding.
Excellent craftsmanship. This is the best value; we make these for dinner or when I want a group appetizer. Taste and quality are both excellent.
Only 68 people were present. My husband and I had to eat less than the individual dishes called for because we had a dinner party of 12 people. The flavor was fine, but I was disappointed that I did not receive the number I expected.
