It's not a good idea to freeze the shell because it's quite delicate, and freezing it can cause it to break once it thaws.
This was a disgusting item. There was a foul odor to it. I ignored the odor, washed it thoroughly, and cooked it, and I spent several days in the bathroom as a result. No, I'm not going to buy it. sorry

I didn't get what I was promised! I got Achatine Snales (asian mud snales) instead of Helix (french), but they say "product of France" on them! NOT! Yuck.
It's so nice to have these with a glass of Italian red wine. I either steam broccoli or serve them with half a cup of turtle beans while they simmer in wine. Relaxing to the max! Due to grocery store shortages, I purchased six of these lovely cans. I'm so happy I did! I'm going to order some more. stock up. The only thing I don't like is chewing up all the snail shells; I never had this issue with wild burgundy snails.
I eat the product frequently, but the crimping and burrs make me concerned about shelf life. With a little bubble wrap, a paper box could have been better. Please advisebr>br>br>Thank you to all. Don Morgan, br>br>.
It appears to have been overcooked. It's more difficult to chew than chewed gum, and it's also not very tasty.
I was hesitant to order food online, but I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the can. The escargots were delicious and tender. This is a brand that I would order from again.
After I cleaned them, they were about the size of a quarter. When I first got them, they had a strong odor, but they smelled much better after I cleaned them with salt and lemon. The size, on the other hand, was a huge letdown. Call them what they are, Roland, and you'll get positive feedback.
My opportunity to return it appears to have passed me by. br>When it was shipped, this is how it arrived. br>These were something I was looking forward to eating.
