Because I couldn't, you used a tried-and-true chef's trick: They had a distinct odor, which I detected. They're as fresh as canned snails get, and they're incredibly tasty. Enjoy.
Cooked to perfection. It needs to be seasoned because it isn't very flavorful. They were ok, but not the best quality, because I used them on pizza.
Place them in a zip lock bag and place them in the freezer.

It was exactly what I had hoped for. Escargots that haven't been shelled. br>I also included a photograph of the dinner I had prepared. It tasted fantastic. The texture of escargot is distinct. Initially, I used a paper towel to dry them. br>I make a butter, garlic, and onion sauce to sauté them in. This dish is served with toasted flavored bread crumbs dressed with a sharp Italian Parmesan or any cheese of your choice, as well as a lemon wedge. It was DELICIOUS! br> br>Go ahead and give it a shot.

The flavor of these snails was excellent. I made a dozen or so batches of them and put them in the freezer. They freeze well in small freezer bags and retain their delicious flavor and texture. My can was dented when it arrived, but that didn't bother me. I'm sure they'd send you a replacement if the can's seal was broken.
Even though it was packed in its own sealed box with no damage, it arrived smashed to hell. This is not a good way to purchase canned goods, particularly these.
First and foremost, the can was sent in a soft envelope. The can had a few deep dents when it arrived. The escargots were teeny-tiny. If you're stuffing them into shells, you'll need at least three. Even after being rinsed, they had an odd odor. The taste was also different from what I'm used to. I used the same sauce as usual, but the dish turned out to be a letdown. These are something I would never buy again.
After adding butter, garlic, and parsley seasonings, I found these escargots to be so tender and delicious that I bought another can for my extended family, some of whom had never tried escargots before and thought they were delicious. I'm going to buy some more.
These were a lot of fun; fix in a traditional manner Yum! Fans of escargot will enjoy this dish.
I'm always impressed by the quality of this escargot; it's great in stews, casseroles, and traume.
Snails were not available in any of the nearby markets. I really liked these, and the quality and quantity were both excellent.
