There were severe dent marks on my cans. There was no proper way to secure the cans All six lots of six cans were packed loose in clear plastic bags inside of an oversized box with nothing braced around There should have been a secure seal between the cans and the plastic as seen in stores, instead of loose in a generic clear bag. In the case of a 6 pack of cans, I expect them to be bundled together so that I am not led to believe they came I do not assert that they were, but I should not have to worry about it. The fact that these are all those that were sent back makes me think maybe these are all recyclable cans and then they are sold in 6-packs. It is not my intention to imply that that is true, however it concerns me that they are shipped loose in bags like this. If the seller is listed in the product listing as Hormel, then it needs to be done by using an official Hormel plastic seal on all 6 cans. It is unacceptable for the cans to bump and bang each other within an oversized box, since this is the very thing that can cause them to become damaged. When shipping, there are certain lines that should not be crossed and cans should not be moved around. I understand it's packaged to minimize the cost to the sellers, but I am also aware of laws that relate to food safety. was required to return all of my cans as I do not want to eat from dented cans because of the risk of pathogens entering along with the breaches in the air seal. do hope that the sellers understand my concerns and will take the packaging methods I noted above into account. In lieu of 1 star I am giving 2 while I am giving 1 because when I buy it from the store shelves and when cans are not dented I enjoy it. As far as canned chicken products go, this is good. However, I do not recommend that you buy it online until the packaging is fixed. Then I am willing to re-submit the draft Returning to the site I'll update my review if I buy that product again in a few months and I see that the packaging has been improved.
I like the flavor and the It is also good to have broth. You can use it for salads and I add it to canned chicken noodle soup (including the broth) for some protein. It's great to have on hand during an emergency as a source of canned protein. I would like this as a salad, but it would be excellent as There aren't really any things I can criticize.

It may be premature to say this As a lot of Hormel products lover, I am somewhat pleased with their line of offerings. There was nothing terribly exciting about the "Hormel Chunk Breast Of Chicken, 10-oz. " I normally purchase Swanson Chicken by the pound, but I bought the "Ounce (Pack of 6)" for the first time.
The dented cans were 3 out of 6. It has an excellent color and consistency, but so far, the Chicken salad I have made with one can (made with the Chicken, made in a can) has had an odd taste. Rather than a spoiled taste, it gives off a chemical scent, and the only thing that comes to mind is the taste of weak bleach. My hope is that it will be just I will add soy sauce to the second can and in the end I will use it for rice & beans. In a stir-fry, vegetables are stir-fried. In the event that the taste persists, I will throw away the rest of the cans and chalk it up as bad luck. Until the verdict is final, the judgment has not been completed.
The taste of this canned chicken is better than most others. The product is fresh and does not seem to contain any fillers.

The chunks are nice and large, they are easy to break up if needed, they look great and they taste wonderfully One more good 'kitchen staple' to keep on hand in case a disaster strikes, or you need to assemble a quick meal. I used them in the Progresso Kitchen Favorites, instead of the chicken breasts, and they turned out.
