Even though I'm 75 years old, I recall using this product when I was younger! My mother's favorite snack was Vienna Sausages, and my husband enjoys them as well. As soon as you open the can, these chicken, pork, and beef sausages are ready to eat. (Because the cans have a pop top opening, you can easily take them with you and eat them. ) There is no need to open a can. The sausages themselves are not salty, but the broth surrounding them is.
This is a quick bite to eat. They came about as a result of my Keto diet. However, in my opinion, they do not taste as good as the other brand. It's impossible to say exactly what it is. However, for the money, it's a good deal.
Good value for money and not overcharging. I paid $27 for 48 of these cans, which have a shelf life of 2024. They went up to over $57 the next day for some reason I don't understand. Definitely not worth the $57 price tag. If the price does not drop to normal, I will not purchase again.
Four cans were open, and 29 were dented when the package arrived. Money was squandered in large quantities. It was possible to keep only 13 cans.
WITH RITZ CRACKERS, THIS IS A GOOD QUICK SOMETHING.
As a treat, I give them to my dogs. The Libby brand has a nicer scent, but my dogs don't seem to mind. I only gave it four stars because ten of the cans were severely dented, and one of them had already been opened.
These little sausages are great for a filling protein snack and can be stored for a long time. However, they are quite salty in my opinion. It makes sense because it keeps them safe to eat for an extended period of time, but it's a bit much. So I do what people used to do back when everything was packed in salt: I soak them in water for about twenty minutes to make sure they're just right. They're really good with fried rice or scrambled eggs once that's done.
