Questions & Answers
I don't know how many there are, but they're the best cherries I've ever tasted! It's about the same amount as you'd find in a typical supermarket small jar. Worth it!
In April of 2020, we placed an order for some. "Best by June 6, 2021" is stamped on the jars that we received. br>Once we've opened the jar, we keep these in the fridge. They have never gone bad in my experience. They're quite sweet, and I believe the sugar aids in the preservation of the cherries. (Sugar in jam is an example of this.)

They're made from real cherries, which you can tell. br>We (my wife and I) buy them in case quantities (seriously!). ) and incorporate them into Manhattans, Old Fashioneds, and a variety of Tiki cocktails. Warning: br>br> Luxardo fans don't seem to enjoy these as much as they do Luxardos. And I'm not sure what all the fuss is about Luxardos — they're fine — certainly better than cheapo maraschinos — but I think the Tillen Merry Maraschinos are far superior. In any case, if Luxardo is your Cadillac, these may or may not appeal to you.
Tillen Farms cherries are some of my favorites. My favorite band is the Bada Bings, but they weren't available in the six-pack. I had a choice of Merry Maraschinos or a pack when I placed my order. They're delicious and, unlike the over-processed versions, taste like cherries. red-fleshed sugared dye- infused grocery store bargains.
I was able to enjoy Shirley Temples without breaking out in hives thanks to these; I add the juice from the jar to my Sprite because it's firm and a bright (but not fake) red color. They also don't have that vaguely chemical aroma that I associate with cheap grocery store cherries. They're a little pricey, but they're well worth it if you're treating yourself.
I've experimented with a variety of maraschinos in order to perfect my Manhattan, and this is my favorite - I like the texture of the cherries and the flavor of the liquid - To the Manhattan, I add a pinch of salt.
I used to buy these at the Healthy Food Store, but they were always out, so I found them on here and ordered a few. They're delicious cherries that don't contain any of the icky stuff you don't want.
These were a godsend for me as someone who suffers from a sulfur allergy. Without the itchy rash, this flavor is perfect.
This is, in my opinion, the best garnish for a Manhattan. With a splash of the juice in the drink, you've got yourself a top-notch cocktail.
On December 7, 2021, I placed an order for these cherries, which are my favorite. On December 10th, 2021, they arrived. The "Enjoy by" date on the lid was 29 November 2021, which was a huge disappointment. I've got two more jars of these cherries in the fridge with "Enjoy by" dates of 2023 on them. What is the age of these cherries, exactly? Tillen Farms, that's not cool. This isn't cool.
