Questions & Answers
The number 13 is written on the jar. There are approximately 5 oz of cherries per serving size of 1 cherry. In each jar, there are 22 servings.
It says "Total sugars 1 g" and below that it says "includes 1 g Added Sugars," so I assume the total sugar count is 1 g and the added sugars are 1 g. Each cherry has 10 calories and is delectable!
Luxardo cherries are less sweet and have a thicker juice, but I prefer Bada Bing cherries. Bing cherries, rather than maraschino cherries, are used by Bada Bing.
On the label, the only mention of vitamins is "Not a significant source of Vitamin D."

Stop here if you enjoy Manhattans (or any other cocktail with cherries). I've tried a lot of gourmet coffees, and the only two that I've really enjoyed are Woodford Reserve and these. These are a little cheaper than the Woodfords, but they're just as good. Tip: Put them in the fridge even before you open them to ensure that the first drink is cold.
For the past five years, I've been purchasing Bada Bing Cherries to use in cocktails. I used to buy these in boxes of six jars and recommend them to friends as well as give them away as gifts. When Stonewall Kitchen bought Tillen Farms, the quality of the cherries deteriorated, with large visible pits from the pitter and many smashed, broken cherries replacing the perfect, uniform, stem-on cherries that were once in every jar. I'm so disappointed that I'll have to look for a replacement.
Use Bada Bing cherries instead of regular maraschino cherries when you need that extra special touch for your famous Manhattan cocktail. Darker in color, less "sugary," and with a much more complex flavor. I've been using these for a while and they're not always available in my local store, but it's worth ordering some online if you can't afford the more expensive Luxardo cherries.
Several people, including myself, have also been caught fishing them out of the jar for a tasty snack.
Although it is unquestionably a luxury item, the right bitters and cherries can elevate a good Manhattan to greatness. I made a six-figure investment in a house. Because local stores sold brands that were significantly more expensive, and we prefer the taste of Bada Bing, we ordered a pack from Amazon. You should shop around because some chain liquor stores and grocery stores sell this exact product at a lower price for single jars.
I've been purchasing these cherries for quite some time, and there are a few characteristics that I look for in a cherry: Taste and texture of pitted stems The cherry in the first batch I bought had a lot of structure to it, which I liked. I don't like this latest batch as much because it appears to be a little mushy. I'll most likely be on the lookout for a replacement cherry right now.
These are dark, and the syrup goes well with just about anything. These are hard to come by in stores, so finding them online was a dream come true!.
They are, without a doubt, the best cherries available in a package. Every single one of my friends and family members who I have referred to them has turned into a regular customer. For any cocktail that calls for cherries, these are the best cherries to use. Remove the maraschinos and replace them with these. He makes some of the best Manhattans I've ever had.
