Questions & Answers
No, they don't have a maraschino cherry flavor to them. They taste like sweetened dark cherries with a hint of sweetness. They're fantastic.
They have pits in them - That statement, I believe, is simply to protect them, as factory machinery can occasionally miss a pit or a portion of one. They're tasty, and there are no artificial colors in them. You'll never go back to those mediocre red cocktail cherries again.
I've had them unopened on the shelf for up to a year and they've been fine, but once opened, they started to mold after only two months in the refrigerator.

These are what I use to make Whiskey Manhattans. br>The best part is the texture and crunch. br>The flavor wasn't great, and the liquid part was bland and watery. This was the first and last time I tried them.
This is a disgusting bunch of cherries. The flavor is bland; they claim to use cane sugar, but only a small amount is used because these are more like watery cherries that haven't been sweetened. The texture is mushy, the color is off, the cherries are tiny (and most of them are shredded rather than whole), and the jar is mostly juice with only a few cherries. I can't believe they were only $15 each!.
Liquid was leaking from the lid when it arrived. The seal had broken, and there was a hair on the underside of the lid. This was my first purchase of this product, and while the bubble wrap appeared to be adequate, the jar appeared to have been tampered with, so buyers should be cautious.
There are no artificial colors in these tasty cherries. They're packaged in water that's been sweetened with cane sugar and colored with fruit and vegetable concentrates. Fruit salads, ice cream toppings, and other desserts benefit greatly from this product.
These were some of the only options on Amazon after a bar had some fantastic giant Bordeaux cherries. They're not nearly as large or as tasty as the ones I had at that bar, so they're a letdown. I'm looking for a larger version of a luxardo. They're also not as sweet as a luxardo.
A young whipper snapper informed me that these cherries are more sophisticated than the other maraschino cherries, and that it was past time for me to mature. For a festive brandy Old Fashioned, this recipe was created.
The container had become contaminated in some way, and it had to be thrown away! We were told we couldn't return it or get a refund. This was a huge letdown!.
However, it's always a gamble whether they'll arrive broken or at all every time I order them. The product did not arrive this time. It's a real pain.
