I'm gluten-free and purchased the 2 pound version, which is labeled as such. Go to Amazon and look for that size. The ingredients are clearly photographed, and the "Gluten Free" indicator is visible. This smaller version has the same ingredients as the larger version.
No stems. Very good cherries
There isn't much of a difference. These cherries come in a blue jar with pits still attached. Pitted cherries are contained in these (red) jars.
Mine had been leaking for quite some time when I received it. I received a new one from them. The originals were delicious up until the very last drop. Yum!

I couldn't decide between the two, so I tried them both! I'm still undecided about which one I prefer- It'll probably come down to what I want to do with each of them. Toschi (this product) has a balancing sourness that could be a nice contrast to the hint of sweetness. The Fabbri has a maraschino-like flavor. It doesn't matter which one you choose; they'll both be delectable!.
They're fantastic. The Traverse City Whiskey Co. 's cherries are my personal favorites. , but they're more expensive and, at the rate I'm using them up, they don't last very long. Perhaps it's the bourbon's subtle flavor. After four bottles of the Traverse City version, these Toschi cherries come in second place and will take some getting used to. Toschi cherries are much less expensive, but they aren't quite as good. I'm addicted to them and can't get enough of them. I recommend that you try both and make your own judgment. Make sure you have plenty of yogurt on hand! Is it time for some more cherries?.
For cocktails and Old Fashions, we've been getting Luxardo cherries. They're absolutely fantastic. These? Meh. br>br>In comparison, these have a more "medicinal" flavor (not in a good way), don't mix well in Old Fashions, and, worst of all, require refrigeration, which means they can't be kept in your bar area. br>br>Overall, these are edible and have more sauce than Luxardo, but the flavor is not as good. We won't be receiving any more of these in the near future.
People always comment on how surprisingly good they are when I use them as a topping for a variety of desserts (bread puddling, gelato, cheesecakes, and so on). They prefer it to any other cherry they've ever had. In a flute of prosecco, I like to put one or two at the bottom. It's attractive and adds a touch of whimsy. It's a hit with the crowd! I found them in an Italian gourmet store, but Amazon has them for the same price or less, so ordering them from Amazon is more convenient. You will not be disappointed if you give them a try!.
If you're looking for a jar of cocktail cherries for $18, these are a great option. I've ordered them a few times now and have always been pleased with the taste and quality.
These cherries are delicious, but they have a waxier texture than Fabbri or Luxardo cherries. If I hadn't tried both brands side by side, I wouldn't have complained or even noticed. If the price is lower than the Fabbri, it's still worth buying.
I had my first Old Fashioned at one of my favorite establishments, and I noticed that they were using these cherries, so I knew I had to get some for myself because they are DELICIOUS. These are the normal cousins of maraschino cherries, which are clearly the cherry family's demented druggy. They have a deep ruby color and are the perfect finish to an Old Fashioned cocktail.
With these, that wasn't the case. They're delectable and delectable! They were fantastic in our old clothes!.
