When you stuff stuffed grape leaves with the stuffing, they are tender, but you have to cook them at the same time. In addition, they are quite large and have few or no holes, and they are the BEST brand on the market. Because my hubby is Greek, we have tried many different brands before settling on it as the only brand we will use. It has to be Orlando by far and above the rest! If you're getting the little leaves, you will love it!
I can't find grape leaves at any stores near where I live. I have no other option than to buy them online or drive 200 miles (roundtrip) to buy them from the nearest store that stocks and sells this product. Suddenly that triple the price was so much less. I just wanted to let you know
As far as I'm concerned, it's not a problem. Perhaps you can pull the insides out of the jar by pushing against the side. A pair of bundles usually accompanies each item. Rather than trying to release them all at once, try to release one by one.
You may want to look into using grape leaves to make pickles, even though I have never heard of it before. For stuffing grape leaves, I buy this brand and only this brand.

They are way too expensive for what they are. $12 is WAY too much. You can use them for what you need but they are in no way worth $12 if you don't need them for that. It seems reasonable that I could earn $6-$7 However, only 7 TOPS are included in the package. were to make stuffed grape leaves for Jesus personally, later on he might be like, "There are so many hungry when I come down from interstellar travels I certainly would like to have some". After that AND ONLY then would I perhaps consider offering them for $9 at most. The only reason JC would be up in the house and hungry is because he was Your prices should be lower!.
My life has always been filled with a lot of things In this case, it's on grape leaves, but the mezzo platter was for a Greek dinner It was a no brainer that I would choose a Greek-themed dinner. I borrowed a recipe from a Greek friend who specified the There is no easy way to tell whether the leaves were the best I have ever seen, or if all of the other times I have tried grape leaves, they were not prepared properly, but the stuffed grape leaves were the best I have ever tasted. After soaking them several times, I started washing them again. A large pot of water was then brought to a boil, the tea leaves were added, and the heat was switched off. They were allowed I was blown away by this There is no better way to enjoy grape leaves than with these.
The leaves were tasty, but were so tough and stringy that it was terrible. I found this to be very expensive and a waste of money because there weren't many tender leaves inside. To serve these tough, stringy leaves to my guests made me feel embarrassed. We were very disappointed after rolling grape leaves all day and making the filling for them not to be very good because of how stringy and tough Despite the fact that they were tough, they tasted okay. Grape leaves with a tough texture are not pleasant to look at. My family isn't Middle Eastern, at least not my side. My answer is no. I would not purchase this product That means I have to build it myself. I hate it. It takes a lot of time and effort, but people seem to like the food I make.
The rest of the posters are correct that these must be removed from the You can just slide them out as recommended by a Greek cookbook. I am happy to report that the jar is filled to the brim and our money is well spent. In the end, I was able to extract them without damage. As soon as the leaves are out, the sizes are bound to vary. After all, they're I read in a cookbook that we had to boil water for ten minutes, remove the pot of water from the stove, and soak the leaves within the water. It appears that the jar has plenty of leaves. There is no doubt about the quality or taste of the food.
A number of cooks used these grape leaves in stuffed grape leaf recipes on YouTube. In view of the fact that this was my first attempt, I decided I would follow their example. It was a pleasure to do so. There was nothing wrong with these grape leaves at all, and I have no complaints. There was only one thing I didn't like about the jar it was difficult to get the leaves out. Several minutes were needed to extract them from the jar since they were tightly rolled and packed. Compared to the rest of the world, this is a minor issue.
Buying from NY STYLE DELI will not make you happy! My bottle had already been opened when I got it and all there was was liquid! I have yet to hear back from the seller! This is a very unprofessional attitude. It is not necessary to buy them from a reputable source the grape leaves themselves are wonderful. You can see in my pictures that I did not even unwrap it because I was able to see the threads and no liquid had been added.
I bought these and they arrived promptly. A large number of leaves are soft and large in size. In the end, I did not remove the stem and middle vein, but I was happy with the result. It probably would have worked with an extra step, but did not need to do so. The grape leaves were very juicy and I had one whole bundle left over after making stuffed grape leaves from them. Excellent work was done on the finished product. The food was very good. Here is a recipe that is both quick and simple to prepare. Meat that is 80/20 can be used for ground beef. A weight of two pounds and a height of one foot There is 1/4 cup of whole grain rice in this recipe. Adding a bit of melted butter would be a nice touch. Put salt and pepper in a bowl and A small amount of filler should be placed on each leaf before rolling. The pot should be large enough to lay the mat on. In a small bowl, combine a little chicken broth, a bit of water (enough to cover the top of the stuffed grape leaves with a plate pressed down on it), a bit of lemon juice, and a plate on the top to hold the sheets in place. On top of these leaves, place two thin slices of lemon. 45 minutes is the recommended cooking time. The process was easy peasy and we got it right! My mom and I used to pick our own grape leaves and prepare them to roll our rice and meat fillings when we were young. There was no problem with this one. You'll enjoy it!.
Every Labor Day at my party, I stuff vine leaves with stuffing. There were mixed opinions about them. Most said they were delicious, but the leaves were tough, full of 'veins' that were stiff and not easily chewed. It's funny, I used to think we must have gotten a bad batch of these last year. Those same factors existed at the time, as well. There is too much decay, too much leaf gapping, and the leaves are thorny. It's shameful that grape leaves are available in California. Next year, I will buy a different kind.
