Questions & Answers

How long do the leaves last before going bad? Can I still use the jars that have the code FUO3AH on the lid?

I believe they will last indefinitely if they have not been opened.

What is the sodium content as a percentage on the label?

Please accept my apologies for not being able to respond to your query. I don't have a jar at home to check the sodium content, but grape leaves are well known for being high in sodium.

What is the location of these?

I threw them out when I first got them because they were from China. I was able to persuade some friends in Fresno, California to purchase and ship H The leaves are picked locally (in Central California) and packed locally under the H brand. H & Grape Leaves, 3355 E. What is the process for growing these in Fresno and packing them in Vietnam?

OMG, you're absolutely correct. I had never noticed the tiny print in all my years of using this product. Your question is fantastic, but I'm just as perplexed as you are right now. I'd get in touch with the company to find out what they have to say. It makes no sense why they would send the leaves half way around the world to be packed.

Viet Nam is where the goods are packed
3/5

These were previously grown and packed in Fresno, California. However, upon further inspection of the label, I discover that they are now grown in California but packed in Vietnam, where there are no sanitation standards, no laws protecting processed foods, and no such thing as an F. These were thrown away right away.

Opa! Young, tender grape leaves of excellent quality
5/5

Orlando is known for delivering consistent, high-quality grape leaves: young people Tender, with thin veins and no bitterness, and a good size for stuffing I've never had an issue with torn, tiny, sunburned, or hole-ridden clothing. y leaves. We eat a lot of grape leaves, both as dolmades and as a side dish. shredded and used to make a lazy dolmas casserole I'm not going to buy anything else than Orlando. br>br>The 16-ounce bag contains two 8-ounce bunches of grape leaves, so if you're making a smaller batch of dolmades (i. e. , 1- 1 pound of meat, 1 cup dry rice) You only need one bunch The other is kept safe and sound in brine until you need it again. Remember that if you don't like the little stem, you'll have to wait an additional 2 minutes. Remove the stems, which is usually the case even when your family brines grape leaves! br>br>Like the 8oz size, these can be difficult to get out of the bottle; I've found it easiest to grab the bunch of leaves and twist the bottle. Pull the leaves out of the bunch in opposite directions, catching the drips over the sink. Actually, it's quite enjoyable!.

Grape leaves of the highest quality! Down the road, a local man sells $4 jars of grape leaves
5/5

99 a jar. Going to him would save me a lot of money, but the problem is the QUALITY! You get what you pay for, and all I'm going to buy in Orlando is grape leaves! I'd rather spend a little more money on high-quality grape leaves. They're all of a reasonable size, with no stems, no rips or holes, and so on.

Highest Quality - For the money, you get a lot of stuffing! Grape leaves were no longer available in any of the local supermarkets for whatever reason
5/5

So, without grape leaves, how am I going to make my annual batch of Christmas Dolmades? Oak was tried, but it was too clumsy. I tried sassafras and found it to be similar to root beer. I experimented with stinkweed and found it to be quite effective. Yes, that was a huge blunder. Finally, I placed an order for these and was not dissatisfied. My jars were of the highest quality (I'm no expert, but my DNA test revealed my Mediterranean roots, which surprised me). The leaves were uniformly sized and of the ideal thickness. I also appreciate how many jars I received. I only used one, but now every time I paw through the pantry and see the extra jar screaming, "STUFF ME!" it makes me want to scream. My mouth is watering at the thought of it.

The grape leaves in the box were wet, and the lids were loose, as they had been two months before
3/5

I ordered it again, and when it arrived, the lids were loose and the grape leaves were rotten. This is the SECOND time in three months that something similar has occurred. I used to buy a lot of things from Amazon, but I no longer do so. When the packages arrive, they are wet and have rotten leaves.

The leaves are very large and tasty
5/5

I ordered two jars, which were not well packed, one of which was broken, and the seals on both of them were also broken. Because the seal had been broken, I quickly made up the one jar. We were able to stuff about 60 leaves because the leaves were so large. I had a great time with the recipe I used! I've since ordered one jar to be delivered, and I'm hoping there won't be any issues! These grape leaves are something I would recommend. I did, however, receive a refund for the defective items.

For the money, this is an incredible value and quality
5/5

We make a lot of stuffed grape leaves at home, and this is the only brand I use because the leaves are large and flavorful when cooked. I can make a good batch of stuffed leaves with only one jar (we are a family of four, so I usually double or triple the recipe). I tell all of my friends about it. Even if you don't use the entire jar, you can keep it in the fridge and it will stay as good as new.

Grape leaves from Orlando are highly recommended
5/5

This is the second time I've purchased something from you. After making stuffed grape leaves with lamb and rice a few weeks ago, I decided to order more grape leaves. They are delivered wrapped and packed to avoid breakage. I grew up eating stuffed grape leaves, so I'll keep ordering the Orlando grape leaves because they're delicious and affordable.
